Homage To The House Of Fox and LionSkins Zora Magic.

Oh wow. Juggling RL work and my love of SL fashion blogging is difficult and getting this story out has been a drawn out process. I'd just finished and went in world to find that House of Fox has closed. Fashionboi Lander had sent me these fabulous outfits created for Modavia Fashion Week and I began shooting them last weekend. I'm very sad about this but her profile does indicate that something else is underway. I hope so because I've been a Fashionboi fan for ages.

Fox In The House.

I'm always tickled to receive a package from Fashionboi Landar of House of Fox because I always know I'm in for a treat. I wasn't disappointed when I hastily whipped on the contents to find this razor sharp number called Couture in Black that included a hat and huge diamante crusted earrings. What I always appreciate with Ms Landar's creations is the fact that she makes skins as dramatic and intense as her clothing line so you can really go to town and let your inner Ga Ga out to play.

I couldn't resist showing off my golden booteh's from Bax too. These boots are fab, fab, fab.  Look at the details - skilled shading and realistic leather folds around the lower boot.  Brilliant.

Thrill Of The Hunt At House Of Fox.

Sorry no hunt here...move on.  It's just my witty title (not).

The amazing Fashionboi Landar, one of the owners of the House of Fox sent me over a few goodies and this is the first outfit I'll blog.  I'm a bit pushed for time as I have a big job on in SL that I must focus on but I did want to blog this store again because I enjoy conceptualizing their unique outfits into pictures. 

My time restrictions and the fact that SL is being a total shit at the moment, curtailed my creative desires somewhat; however, a quick trip over to Sic saw me take a few pics of the outfit called 'Hard Core Jacket' which I love. Chalice In Wonderland: House Of Fox Rocks.

You know, I get a big thrill when a designer sends me something to consider blogging as I take it that they feel I might do justice to the fruits of their labor.  Last night was one such time when I clapped my hands and went 'Ooooooo'.  I was in the middle of an SOS question in a group when along came some treasures from Fashionboi Landar, the owner/designer of House of Fox.  When said emergency was over, I threw on the contents of my newly acquired folders and jumped for joy.  These are my kind of clothes.  This is taken from Fashionboi's profile because who can explain a label better than the designers themselves?

"House of Fox offers both Avant Garde and Casual clothing. Our style of clothing are mostly in the greyscale. You will not find anyone other like us both our fashion sense and our vision of the modern woman".

I TP'd over to the store today and found some amazing pieces for those who like their fashion edgy, strong, unconventional and making a statement without fluff or flounce.  This is not for the frou frou woman but a woman who not only pays for her own dinner, she buys yours as well.  Here Chalice is wearing 'Antoinette Ram' and she's just as likely to kick you in the gargoyles than give you a passionate kiss.  Worn with the House of Fox Magdalena Couture Face skin, I love the result.  The Couture and Natural skins are the cherry on the top of these monochrome delights and while not everyone might wear them for everyday SLiving (although you sure could), they certainly create an impact on the fashion stage.
