It's Show Time With LionSkins And Friends.

A  wizard, Fro, who loved to create beautiful woman had gone insane from all the beauty he had created. As a result, his models began to deteriorate.  In horror the wizard ran to the strongest witch he knew, her name was Lio.

Because of the wizards selfish needs, the great witch Lio cursed the wizard by making his beautiful models, not into the ethereal beauties he had created, but into decayed beings.  The witch called them the BLOODY'S LINE and the models began  a new fashion era in Boulevard City, strutting their zombified skins with intense ferocity.

With the help of other witches from the land, the BLOODY'S LINE created clothing, poses and shoes that matched their transformation in a beautifully horrific way.

The Flair Of LaViere.

Hello precious ones....yes YOU.

Here is another wee purchase from my time at Modavia Fashion Week when I stumbled across some vendor posters with one of them showing this wonderful, fresh white outfit from LaViere called 'The Blanche'. I loved it immediately and loved the price even more. If memory serves me correctly, it was only about L$150. I hadn't heard of LaViere before and post my picture taking, I took a trip over to the shop. The designer, Azure Electricteeth (one wonders whether she can carve the Sunday roast with her mouth) appears to be starting up shop at Elsewhere and I must say, I'm excited. The shop design is smart and already filled with lots of lovely things.  I may be wrong but given it's not entirely filled, I'm gathering its a new venture...I apologize if I'm incorrect here.

I went looking for white shoes and at my first stop, Similar Italian Footwear, I found a gorgeous pair called 'Otranto'. OMG I'm in love with my feet. I have fallen in complete love with this brand and I simply can't get enough of them.

I'm a lucky girl. When I logged yesterday, the one and only Maddox DuPont of MaDesigns fame was kind enough to send me copies of all his new release couture hair. OMG people...they are stunning. I can't help wonder if he meant to forward them to someone else but Maddox, I'm extremely grateful and will be showcasing the various styles as I blog. Here I'm wearing my favorite, Maya. I also found these cute silver steam punk glasses from Amaranthus, a Victorian Gothic Jewelery and Accessory store I found at the Jewelery Fair.

I found the snazzy white belt called Tory from LeLutka and the riding crop was a giftie from Violator. It's scripted so you can smack anyone you like. Anyway, enough from me.  On to the next outfit...

Pretty Casual In Oyakin.

One thing I always know I'm gonna get when I shop at Oyakin is quality. The textures are always top notch and the construction well executed. I spied these girly jeans complete with lace bows and trimming at the cuff and thought 'me gotta get some of those'. No sooner had I closed my purse when I noticed the 'Romantic' cami in the most stunning hues and the purse was opened once again. Its all kind of boho shabby chic.

"Officer, that is not a bong, its a vase...honestly".

Check out the bum bow. Guaranteed to cover up all manner of flaws.

I'm loving the Vanity Hair $60L weekend special #5 I picked up the other day called Jackie in Essence tone worn here. It's so big, getting out the door was a struggle.

Anyway gorgeous ones. I got some more outfits to blog so I better get to it. Have you noticed the amazing fashion blogs around at the moment? They're better than ever and I think all you people who peruse the fashion feeds are very lucky. You have no excuse to not look FABULOUS.

Oh and by the way. My Cha Cha Blogger Award of the week goes to Lila Quander's blog, Demented Divas. In my opinion, its one of the most stylish, slickest fashion blogs around and the effort that it must take to achieve such a high standard is huge. She just gets it SO right.

Goodness Gracious - Here's Sascha's Designs And LionSkins.

Sascha's Designs has a new release dress called Gracious. As usual, value for money is what you get with any Sascha Frangilli outfit due to the plethora of options she provides. I just love how with a click here and there, you can transform from Oscar red carpet to Queen of England. Gracious is available in Bronze, Aqua, Blush, Emerald, Magenta, Mauve, Peacock, Pink, Purple, Strawberry and Sun. I've chosen the stunningly regal bronze color with a few options to give you the idea. The texture is dazzling and it never ceases to amaze me how she gives life to her dresses in a way many cannot.

For a bit more detail, click for a bigger picture.

The skin I'm wearing is a new release from the unstoppable (thank god) Ms Lion Jonesford of LionSkins. This girl is a perfumed steam roller who keeps charging ahead with the most inspired skins on the grid. This line is called Silka and once again, Lion provides a tonne of make up options you can purchase separately. As the name implies, this skin is soft, dewy and silky. Available in Pale (shown), Sun Kissed and Sun, the ethereal and natural tones of this skin are sure to be a total winner and a lovely contrast to some of her bold, statement skins. Lion has done something beautiful with the arms in terms of shading. Love it darling. Go and get yer Silka girls.

Style notes:
Skin: Silka in Pale from LionSkins.
Make Up Layer: Silka range from LionSkins.
Hair: Tatum 2 in Happy from Friday.
Hat: Fleeting Headdress from Adore and Abhor.
Dress: Gracious in Bronze by Sascha's Designs.
Shoes: Wallpaper shoes from Bottle Bird.
Poses: By Di's Opera - From Fashion Week.

The Moga Dress By Couverture.

When I spotted this dress called Moga at Chocolate Arashi's amazing shop Couverture, I simply had to have it. So glad Chocolate opted for the more expensive form of her name sake or the shop may have been called Compound. Couverture is so much more delicious. An absolute steal at $80 L's, I didn't realize that the dress could be worn in three different ways until I tried it on. All the more value for money.

I just love the strong color and pattern of the material yet it moves with a wisp of wind giving it a totally feminine quality. As you can see below, the dress can be worn in three different ways...strapless, tank and full sleeved.

Tabata Jewell from Vanity Hair fame is just going from strength to strength with her styles. I love all her new releases and have shown Pin Up, Woopsie and Innocent respectively. I just need to get some money into my SL bank and I'll be returning for the rest of her new releases. They are must have's for my future blogging.  Between Vanity Hair and Maiamai attachments, I am in hirsute heaven.

I highly recommend Couverture to my readers. I couldn't be happier with this dress and her shop is stocked with other fabulous pieces and also delightful home decor items. And as we all know girls, chocolate is oh so good for you.

Head Honcho In My Poncho.

Inspiration, motivation, perspiration. These are the three factors I need to create a blog post and sometimes one or all three desert me. I push on regardless because I do enjoy pressing the 'publish post' tab and sharing my interpretation of different fashion styles. I wish I could offer something more profound on my blog such as opinions on all aspects of SL but I defer to the old saying of 'opinions are like asshole's...everybody has one'. I may not have one of the popular blogs around although I do strive for quality (as much as my talent will allow) and to give our wonderful designers some more coverage.

You can probably tell by the number of SL blogging links I attach to my blog that I love what my colleagues do and support them as much as time will allow. I would like to encourage you all to make an effort to let your favorite blogger know that their efforts in the SL blogging community are appreciated. Just imagine all the leg work you'd have to do if not for the sharing that occurs in the fashion feeds.

That said, let me introduce this look that I created, centered around the fabulous poncho I picked up at LpD. It's fab darlings and the colors are stunningly rich. I love starting to build around one piece and then introducing more and more until I think I'm done. It takes a lot of searching and my clothes go on and off like a pair of strippers knickers but the more thorough the search, the more I can ferret out long forgotten treasures.

Pretty Knitty.

When I spotted the knit stockings and big pants with pom poms at Sur+, I just had to have it. At the time I had no clue what to do with it but I knew I'd have fun letting my imagination loose on this one. While the outfit doesn't come with a top and my boobs were free-wheeling, for modesty's sake, I chose this gorgeous little shirt by Chantkare from the recent group gift called Teni.  The knitted bloomer's sit just under the breasts so knew it would be a bit difficult to find something that worked but got lucky with this one.

Wool being such an organic material prompted me to follow this theme and I added feathers in the form of gloves from Eclectica, Folk Forest earrings from glow studio and the Harvest Crown full of natures bounty from LaGyo.

Unorthodox this may be, I love the natural elements used in the various pieces and free from the constraints of pants as we are these days thanks to the Lady of GaGa and others, we can all wear our inside on the outside. I'm loving these Edgy Pumps in Vanilla by House of Fox.

I knew I'd find the bag of my dreams at LeLutka to accompany my variation of a winter outfit and the Birger bag is just what I wanted. Deciding natural makeup would be a sympathetic option, I immediately went to LionSkin's Lea range worn with one of Lion's amazing lash sets.

Chalice thanks:
LionSkins for the skin and lashes.
LeLutka for the Charlize hair.
Chantkare for the Teni top.
Sur+ for the 'What A Knitty' pants and stockings.
Eclectica for the feathered gloves.
LeLutka for the Birger bag.
LaGyo for the Harvest Crown.
House of Fox for the Edgy Pumps.
Glow Studio for the earrings.
Idea Motus for the poses.

More Lionskin Fabulosity. A Face For Every Occasion.

The news on the grape vine is that Lion Jonesford has gone completely mad and can't stop creating new make up layers and out of this world lashes. Allegedly she is sitting in her skin studio furiously creating saying 'I have to give them more. More. MORE'. Seriously folks...she needs an intervention. When you stop by to check out these fabulous, vibrant make ups and eye lashes, slap some sense into her and make her go to bed.

Click the pics for a more detailed look at these wonderful face make ups and decadent eye lashes. These are only a teaser of what is available. With a banquet of colors and choice of cute teeth peeping out or wet look lipstick, these tattoo add ons work perfectly with Lion's Lea skin or in fact, any skin you have in your inventory. The huge range of prim lashes are stunners and will give you a unique edge to your look.

This girl never stops giving us gorgeous. My hair is from LoQ called Hot Chocolate and designed by Gia Pawpad. Love it Gia.

I have neglected my darling blog for a couple of weeks due to a busy work schedule but hopefully can get in some more posts in the next few weeks.

Fume Leggings - Let Off Some Steam

I found these fabulous leggings at Fume (designer Inex Hax) the other day. They are a bold feather pattern with feather cuffs and totally satisfy my feather fetish. I can't be sure, but I think Inex is fond of a feather too given she has a wonderful peacock outfit in the store. You can tell she loves working with interesting color and textures which pulls me in every time. Do keep an eye on the alligator in the shop...he tried to eat me.

Great hair called Irena from Vita's Boudoir. A cross between fairy floss and cotton wool, it just bounces as you move.

A dark shadow has been cast across Second Life with the untimely passing of well known resident, Delinda Dyrssen. It's an unbelievably sad situation for her family and friends and while I didn't know Delinda, I knew of her. Best to read about the amazing Delinda here at New World Notes and particularly her involvement with KDIGO. From the beautiful words of her friends here in SL, it looks like Heaven received a very, very bright star. Rest now precious.

The Many Faces Of LionSkins LEA.

LionSkins LEA with add on's to burn.

Lion Jonesford has a new release about to hit the scene called Lea and I tell you SLifer's, it's all about the ADD-ON. Having to buy a fat pack of the same skin tones with different make ups is history. Purchasing one skin tone with add-on's is the future and Lion is taking us there in her colorful space ship at warp speed. The ability to interchange make up, eyeliner, hair etc not only with a LionSkin base, but other skins allows us even more individuality.

You select your skin by purchasing either light, red or dark brows in either Pale, Sun or Sunkiss tones of skin. Lea is available in two different looks, Teen or Adult. Then the real fun begins by selecting your favorite make up's, eyeliners, hairs, hair bases.  Knowing Lion, the selection will be mega huge and she'll be adding to her add-on's as time goes by.  Here's a little sneak peak at some of the different looks Lion gives us wearing the Lea base with her tattoo layer add-on's. This skin is all about having fun.

Above - Here I'm wearing the Lea Adult base skin in Pale with an add-on make up and her amazing add-on Head Undies. (Please note that Lion assures me she has thoroughly washed her undies before turning them into head wear).

Above - Another make up and hair base add-on.

Above - Wearing the red hair base add-on and a different make up.

Above - Are you getting the idea. The possibilities are endless.

Above - Another make up choice worn with Lion's eye liner add-on. Beautiful.

Above - This is the natural Lea base. What I adore about this range is the variety of looks one can achieve from young and funky to avant-garde and edgy.

Above - Wearing the dark hair base with dark brows. The hair bases are sensational and I love the definition of the hair line.  Lion also made the top in this picture.  It's just the most fabulous thing ever.  The left boob is actually a weapon and I'm not afraid to use it.

Here's the limo to LionSkins.  Remember, don't drink n drive.

Urban Glam GizzA Style

Sometimes you just need to get in touch with your RAWWWW and Spicy Leo from GizzA was just the ticket. This outfit was sent to me last night and I was immediately struck by the brilliant textures of the pants and fur lined top in addition to the very well made accessories that came with the outfit. The designer is Giz Seorn and he's got talent to burn.

I'm Regal Rock Chick with Beehive and I'm using the excellent acoustics in this enclosed bridge to practice my scales ready for my gig tonight.

Spicy Leo comes with CFM boots and the cute pink ipod in the jacket pocket.

Take a good look baby. You're gonna remember my name. Well I hope you do. I've had so much to drink, I've forgotten it.

I do appreciate you all and while I try to get things on the blog as quickly as possible, I'm always on a tight time frame due to RL commitments. I hope you understand if I just can't get around to it in a reasonable time but please do IM me in world and give me a prod. Love you all.

Don't forget too, if you want to be on my couch as a guest, you can follow the guidelines here. Come show off with me.

The Trocadero by Sascha's Designs.

Chalice in Wonderland Blog

Thank you Sascha for once again allowing me to blog your amazing designs. This time I present The Trocadero in the richest of golds. Sascha's Designs is a label that never stops delivering beautiful dresses for every occasion but I do think her range of formal wear is knock out brilliant. Feminine to a fault, the mix of stunning materials and eye catching embellishments come together to create Oscar worthy gowns that most of us could only dream of wearing in RL.

I chose the stunning Gold color; however, the fat pack includes black, champage, choco, pink, purple, red, silver, teal, turquoise and white. Looking for a wedding dress? Well the white Trocadero would be perfect. Again, you get a variety of skirt options to mix it up and includes a gorgeous feather shawl and shoulder piece. The pictures below show you the different skirts.

Homage To The House Of Fox and LionSkins Zora Magic.

Oh wow. Juggling RL work and my love of SL fashion blogging is difficult and getting this story out has been a drawn out process. I'd just finished and went in world to find that House of Fox has closed. Fashionboi Lander had sent me these fabulous outfits created for Modavia Fashion Week and I began shooting them last weekend. I'm very sad about this but her profile does indicate that something else is underway. I hope so because I've been a Fashionboi fan for ages.

Thank you so much for the fashion memories House of Fox. While these outfits are now no longer available, I thought I would post them anyway to give credit to a very talented designer who I hope will continue to create her brand of sophisticated fashion.
