BoHo HoBo Show Girl.

I tried so hard to get this post out before the Boho Fusion Fashion Show on Sunday 2nd October at 6.30pm organized by Avante Modeling Agency. My favorite designer Trill Zapatero from BoHo HoBo was a part of the show and despite having completed my BoHo HoBo shots, it was midnight before I finished and I just couldn't bring it home. Sorry Trill but I do have some BoHo HoBo magic to share. I hope it was a huge success and I'm just sorry I wasn't able to attend to cheer you and the other designers on.  Don't forget all proceeds from BoHo HoBo is donated to RAWA - read here.

Click pics for more detail.

The skirt, the red leather jacket and the adorable hat are from BoHo Hobo.  Amazing Trill.

Pretty Casual In Oyakin.

One thing I always know I'm gonna get when I shop at Oyakin is quality. The textures are always top notch and the construction well executed. I spied these girly jeans complete with lace bows and trimming at the cuff and thought 'me gotta get some of those'. No sooner had I closed my purse when I noticed the 'Romantic' cami in the most stunning hues and the purse was opened once again. Its all kind of boho shabby chic.

"Officer, that is not a bong, its a vase...honestly".

Check out the bum bow. Guaranteed to cover up all manner of flaws.

I'm loving the Vanity Hair $60L weekend special #5 I picked up the other day called Jackie in Essence tone worn here. It's so big, getting out the door was a struggle.

Anyway gorgeous ones. I got some more outfits to blog so I better get to it. Have you noticed the amazing fashion blogs around at the moment? They're better than ever and I think all you people who peruse the fashion feeds are very lucky. You have no excuse to not look FABULOUS.

Oh and by the way. My Cha Cha Blogger Award of the week goes to Lila Quander's blog, Demented Divas. In my opinion, its one of the most stylish, slickest fashion blogs around and the effort that it must take to achieve such a high standard is huge. She just gets it SO right.

Fume Leggings - Let Off Some Steam

I found these fabulous leggings at Fume (designer Inex Hax) the other day. They are a bold feather pattern with feather cuffs and totally satisfy my feather fetish. I can't be sure, but I think Inex is fond of a feather too given she has a wonderful peacock outfit in the store. You can tell she loves working with interesting color and textures which pulls me in every time. Do keep an eye on the alligator in the shop...he tried to eat me.

Great hair called Irena from Vita's Boudoir. A cross between fairy floss and cotton wool, it just bounces as you move.

A dark shadow has been cast across Second Life with the untimely passing of well known resident, Delinda Dyrssen. It's an unbelievably sad situation for her family and friends and while I didn't know Delinda, I knew of her. Best to read about the amazing Delinda here at New World Notes and particularly her involvement with KDIGO. From the beautiful words of her friends here in SL, it looks like Heaven received a very, very bright star. Rest now precious.

Why So Blue? 52 Weeks Of Color Challenge

What a great idea for us bloggers. I'm in. Luna Jubilee has given us a fun challenge to spread some color on the feeds. Today I'm BLUE...

Thrilled to have found another designer I wasn't aware of, my blue cubed jeans dress and bag comes from Nevery Lorakeet and her shop Les Petites Details. I love it Nevery. It's unusual for designers to make matching bags and this outfit lends itself to just that.

I do love bags and have found that some of them don't have a pose that allows the hand to wrap around the handle. Is that possible? Maybe food for thought because it does look much better if you are actually holding the bag. Much love to Courtisane for these Marquise shoes in silver. While I adore prim toed shoes, its great to find a shoe that you just whack on and it looks great without the work of having to match skins etc.

Mimikri Me

When I want special, I go to Mimikri. Ms Mimikri Kit has been creating wonderful for what seems like forever and if I had the dosh, I'd buy everything in her shop. Unfortunately Chalice's boss wants to go on another world holiday so has to be frugal with her Linden's. On this occasion, Chalice held her breath until she got this wonderful little dress called 'Gigi' in mauve. It's fru fru fabulous with bows, lace and flounce. Carrying on the Mimikri-ness, the Ajour tights in plum came out to play.

I do love this look and the ability to add tattoo layers using Viewer 2.2 allows for some interesting combination's with make up and hair. How lucky are we to be able to add, add, add and create an entire look that is unique.

Check the style card below for a list of the designers who made this look possible:

Arabian Nights In Bliss Couture

Chalice In Wonderland Blog

Have you taken a walk around Bliss Couture lately? Ms Amutey Decuir pumps out fabulousness at warp speed and I have seriously come to appreciate her amazing contribution to SL fashion. Room upon room, wall upon wall of quality, inspired fashion, delights the senses and it strikes me that one could not produce the volume of creative work if one didn't love what they do. I spied this Merlin Floral dress in the most striking red and being a lover of hibiscus, of which this dress reminds me, I had to have it.

Chalice In Wonderland Blog

Always trying to take an outfit away from the obvious, I wanted to introduce another color or element to the look and found these snakeskin tights in striking blue.

I then scoured the shops for accessories to match and found this gem of a bag at Armidi Gisaci. Some further snooping unearthed these blue bangles also from Armidi.

Chalice In Wonderland Blog

I'm imaging Chal as an undercover operative in some exotic location although this is not the outfit I'd wear if I were trying to blend in.

Chalice In Wonderland Blog

I remembered my Coutisane La Sauvage shoes in Ocean that Vixie Rayna kindly gave me as a present and thought....'perfect'. A little up do from Lamb, red lips from LeLutka and the Rita glasses from Mojoti were all that was needed to complete my look as an undercover spy. Evelyn Salt meet Chalice Carling.

Dready Or Not

Having dreads is one of my unfulfilled dreams but I know I will never follow it through. I just can't go the next step and get them done...I'm a chicken with my hair you see. So living vicariously through Chalice, I found an awesome dread do at Simay Creations complete with funky hair scarf. To me dreads evoke a grounded, earthy feel so I went for a look that was comfortable, casual and cotton perfect for browsing treasures at Les Puces in Paris.

I do rather love this dress called May that I recently picked up as a freebie gift from Flowerdreams Creations (LM below). Lots of color and the skirt part fits really well under the halter top. Again I'm wearing my new Mojoti eye wear, this one is called Rita comprising of lovely tortoiseshell rims in the style of Ray Bans. I teamed this with the Courtisane opening gift bag called Sacoche which I just love and hadn't worn before.

I do love an eclectic mix of textures, patterns and colors and this combination draws together seemingly unrelated pieces to create a variation on my hippie chic theme.
