Let Me Tell You A Secret.................
Take one striking Kimono coat ($240L) with paisley pattern from The Secret Store and one Menorca dress ($350L) in mustard from CheerNo, Add a red knot belt ($50L) from Voix and strings of pearls from +plus that I colored to match and you have a great little look going on.
Never forget to check the permissions on your items lovies because quite often you can make color modifications that personalizes your outfit for that uniqueness we all crave.
Finding some heels for my little outfit was quite a challenge but I persevered until I came across these Loordes Of London Asrid Booties in Regal Blue ($75L) sold at the Tropicana Baazar.
I love my newest bag purchase called Resort Satchel ($250L) in Pumpkin from Leverocci. Seriously folks. You MUST go check out Leverocci's stuff, especially the shoes, but not before I blog them or I'll hunt you down and smack you with my purse.
As for the rest, Cha's wearing Kaja hair ($100L) in Platinum from Kik, Gold and Coral earrings from Simay Creations, Lotus ring from Kunglers, Prim nails from Pixel Mode, Claudia 2 Milky Glow skin from Laq and Love My Eyeliner and Mascara Tattoo from Boom.
Anyway that's it from me. Hope you all had a wonderful New Year. While I'm sad Christmas/New Year is over for another year, my body needs a serious detox so perhaps its for the best if I want to see 2013.

Meet My New Lover....Peqe
Once again, Modavia Fashion Week set an impeccably high standard and the venue was awesome. I found it easy to navigate and thought the build was beautiful. Whilst SL performance is an issue for me of late, I persevered and eventually managed to see it all. One designer there piqued my interest big time. PEQE has some truly amazing fashion and I snapped this Kiss Me Pop Art jacket, black tights and G Wedge Heels as I thought together, they'd make a great outfit.
The quality is amazing and I can't wait to go back and buy more. I used my Bag Ye Ye from Simay Creations which happens to be one of my most favorite bags in my collection.
I've got so much to show but with so little time and SL being naughty, I will do my best. Have a great weekend all.

Coat To Float Your Boat.
Look at me in my Maki coat from Lurani.
A designer sends you an outfit or item and every time it's like Christmas, opening your present to see what's inside. Do I love it? Do I hate it? Regardless, I am always grateful that someone took the time to think of me and my blog. This time dearies I opened the virtual box to something I just loved. My Maki coat from Lurani is so, so me and its stark lines give it the edge. Maki contains the coat, coat prims, under shirt and black leggings. The cute little mandarin buckle collar is a lovely touch and after a few little alterations to the coat prims, was ready for action.
Immediately I remembered buying some boots from sYs that I thought would be perfect. I couldn't go past my YaYa bag from Simay Creations and short, cornrow hair style from je suis.
I just love it when something comes together as easily as styling this. Me loves me in this.
And the SLoscar goes to:
Hair: Sonique 4 by je suis.
Hair base: LAQ in black.
Skin: Claudia 2 Milky Glow Skin (Make up 4) by LAQ.
Glasses: Susie Cateye Shades in White by Elate.
Jacket and leggings: Maki by Lurani.
Shoes: Syberia by sYs.
Bag: YaYa by Simay Creations.
Earrings: Black Shadow by glow studio.
Photo Studio including backgrounds from Second Snaps. I recommend it.

A Star Is Born
Hey groovers. I picked this little dance outfit up from Yome Shoujo . It's just a pants and shirt layer but very well done.
After dancing till dawn and with a hang over of mammoth proportions, Chal's Hair Of The Dog was an ice cream.
If only I looked this good in rl after a naughty night out.

Hat: Zee Ramen hat by Split Pea

The Niven Edge.
Are you having a beautiful week? I am. Despite seriously struggling with my doggie's terminal illness, I am immersing myself in her loveliness and making each moment count. I am her human mother and she is my canine baby...we love each other beyond words and this is what drives me to put her first. To do the right thing when its required and to hold her in my arms at home when it comes time to call the vet and send her to doggie Heaven wrapped in my love.
That said, I wanted to put together some Niven magic centered around the Niven Wing Lash and Geisha Lip tattoo layer. This whole tattoo phenomena available in Viewer 2 has opened up a new world of fashion styling to me and I love it. To be able to meld a Belleza body with a Niven face (or any combination) is simply wonderful.
I'm wearing pieces from the Niven's Monochrome Collection, the nautica top and Autoro shorts. I love the play on vertical and horizontal stripes that I followed through with the Ye Ye bag from Simay Creations introducing a hint of red.
In previous posts I mentioned my new find jewelery shop, Fairy Tale, thanks to Jennaa Loire's guest appearance on Fabulous Fashion, and here are some more pieces from this amazing designer. The ring and bracelets are group gifts and I fell in love with the Glasses Necklace, which like all their pieces, is intricately detailed. The earrings are just amazing too. Called Prayer Pierce, they are amazing to look at up close. xxxriexxx Serevi is the creative mastermind behind Fairy Tale and I hope you get yourselves over there for a look.
Again I'm wearing Kalnins Wonder shoes as I love them. I can't stop looking at the leather texture that gently folds over itself on the topside of the shoe. Opening up my extensive hat cupboard, I couldn't resist a little dress hat made by Kikis Homewood.
I particularly wanted to mention the setting for these pics. I visited Kyoot in Silent and was immediately taken with the amazing layout of this store. I ventured outside and found this scene.

Lionskins Make Chalice Roar.
Lion Jonesford, skin designer and CEO of Lionskins has been transforming us into creatures of beauty for some time now and her recent skin line, Nova, is a testament to her immense and indisputable talents. You can't go past Lionskins for print and runway work because of the vivid, artistic make ups that come in a plethora of options to satisfy the most imaginative stylist. What is even more wonderful is the pairing of Tabata Jewell from Vanity Hair and Lionskins to create a skin/hair fusion so amazing that I ran right out of my NCore Cherie Passion Heels in my hurry to get it all on. Tabata has put together a selection of hair pieces made specifically for Lion's Nova range. What a thrill and advancement this is in hair/skin offerings and the moment I cammed back to view my outfit, I just smiled with a sense of satisfaction. SL is just going from strength to strength. Artistically that is, not fiscally. The hair I'm wearing is China Temptation in Blond.
I found this wonderful Chantkare dress called Ascot at Applonia Criss' store at GOL that was on sale for $150L. Its divine and I chose this to wear with my new Lionskin/Vanity Hair purchase. A profusion of strong colors and almost Aztec in its pattern, I paired it with the Old Batik Indi bag from Baiastice. I think it works beautifully together.
You know I am a Simay devotee (see previous posts) and these earrings and necklace are called Gold and Coral. They are just so pretty and unlike some jewelery in SL that isn't so good in the flesh, these are even better than the vendor poster. Thank you Silvia Mayo (designer) for being so kind to me yesterday. Big hugs. I hope you have all gone for a visit to her store? I promise you won't be disappointed.
As I said, I'm wearing my new NCore Cherie Xtreme Heels in Red Passion. I love the luster and worn feel of these shoes.
I finished off with my favorite watch, the Flight Compass from the wonderful Indyra Seigo from Indyra Originals. Now if you are lazy like me and prefer to shop than roost on a pose stand trying to align lashes, Tattanooga at Jador Fashion are selling a fat pack of mascara tattoo's. Five different styles for a mere $500L's and no crying over the pose stand. It paid for itself by not having to put money in the swear jar.
I'll be back with another Chantkare dress on special and a new Vanity Hair spectacular.

I Have A Secret...Shhhhhhh. Simay Creations.
I love discovering new finds, places that I haven't seen before. Over a month ago I had one such find...that being Simay Creations. The designer is silvia Mayo and she has created three separate Simay entities, Simay Fashion, Simay Furniture and Simay House and Furniture.
My first introduction was her fashion label and I was bowled over by her style and ability to replicate a range of what appears to be RL wearable fashion in SL. Walk through the boutique and everything is presented in it's entirety. By that I mean she gives the shopper an entire look from hat's to jewelery to shoes and bags styling each outfit to perfection.
I haven't been as thrilled with discovering a collection of this quality for some time and I simply could have purchased the entire shop. I had my eye on this outfit for a while and wanted to present this in my blog as an example of a Simay Creation. This is called 'Dark Zebra' incorporating the hat, jacket, scarf and gorgeous skirt. Silvia has a wonderful, wonderful eye for fashion and her pieces are unique and quite unlike what you see around everyday. I purchased some boots that I will create an outfit around in the near future and I was so thrilled with them. I swear I haven't seen anything like them.
I find her designs sophisticated, unique and very realistic in terms of material, texture, cut and flow. I just can't wait to explore more of her clothing and vast array of accessories for future LOTD. I'm sure many of you have had the pleasure of a Simay experience but still, it feels like my little secret.
And she wore:
Skin: Maeva Skin (Make Up #6) by Inaya Skins
Hair: Nimue in Natural Blond by Maitreya
Eyes: Expressive Eyes in Big Grey by Nany Merlin
Nails: Black Manicure from Caribe: Mount Pacoloco
Jacket/Skirt/Scarf/Hat: Black Zebra by Simay Creations
Boots: Bloom in Black by Maitreya

Dready Or Not
Having dreads is one of my unfulfilled dreams but I know I will never follow it through. I just can't go the next step and get them done...I'm a chicken with my hair you see. So living vicariously through Chalice, I found an awesome dread do at Simay Creations complete with funky hair scarf. To me dreads evoke a grounded, earthy feel so I went for a look that was comfortable, casual and cotton perfect for browsing treasures at Les Puces in Paris.
I do rather love this dress called May that I recently picked up as a freebie gift from Flowerdreams Creations (LM below). Lots of color and the skirt part fits really well under the halter top. Again I'm wearing my new Mojoti eye wear, this one is called Rita comprising of lovely tortoiseshell rims in the style of Ray Bans. I teamed this with the Courtisane opening gift bag called Sacoche which I just love and hadn't worn before.
I do love an eclectic mix of textures, patterns and colors and this combination draws together seemingly unrelated pieces to create a variation on my hippie chic theme.
Where She Shopped:
Skin: Elle in Fair Make Up 3 by Belleza
Hair: Giadia Hair in Blond by Simay Creations
Nails: Natural Real Color nails in Gold by J's
Glasses: Rita by Mojoti
Dress: May by Flowerdreams Creations (Gift)
Shoes: Allure shoes with socks by Maitreya
Bag: Sacoche by Courtisane Gift.
Watch: Flight Compass by Indyra Originals
Earrings: Exotic by Tik Tok
