The Chains That Bind.

Hi precious ones.  Well I visited the new look Glam Affair and got me some demo skins which I intend to try on when I've finished this post.  It looks great Ms Ewing.  Wonderful build :-)

Today I'm wearing an outfit I've been storing in my 'to blog' file from Amarelo Manga called 'Tilla'.  I'm so into these mesh tops that sit just off the body in lacy material.  The shirt is ever so nice and silky looking.  I actually have something similar in my RL wardrobe.

The pants are quite out there and there's definitely a touch of Chanel © about them.  I purchased the bag from Glam Affair. which I love.

I popped on my Gos Lolita Espadrilles and am ready for a ride in my convertible to go shopping.  I need to go stock up on some new blogging outfits cause its pay day and I got money to burn.

Oh and this great little do is from Kik called 'Fiona' in Platinum.  Gawd I love Kik hair.

Thought for the day.  I've seen and known a few people around with the sir name 'Littlething'.  I wonder how many guys opted for that when they joined SL and could pick their last name?

WELL ARE YOU COMING SHOPPING OR WHAT?

I'm Telling You To ShuShu.

I'm loving the label ShuShu darlings.  According to ShuShu's designer, ShuShu Congrejo, she is the RL daughter of one of SL's most innovative designers, AnaLee Balut from ALB Fashions.  Its obvious the apple doesn't fall far from the tree when you look at ShuShu's couture collection.  Its fun and fab for those who like their fashion vibrant and unique.

This mesh outfit is called 'Glam Affair' and comes with the knit bolero and waist bow.

This is so fashion forward when you look at the layering of the flower patterned skirt, flouncy over dress and strategically placed bolero with two wooden buttons keeping it in place.  Brilliant designing Ms ShuShu.

I threw on some sunnies from Tabloid and the 'Louis' bag from OhLaLa.  The leggings are from Art Decade.

The fabulous shoes are the 'Marilyn' sandals from GOS shown here in burgundy.  I most certainly am a ShuShu fan and want to add that if you join the group, there are some great gifties available.  Now ShuShu...go buy.

Blow Me One Last Kiss

This is a very sophisticated dress in the most vibrant design from my new favorite label, Loovus Dzevavor.  The designer, Vikeejeah Xevion, has a wonderful vision with her collection and her use of color and pattern are so exciting that I consider her one of the best.  This full length dress called 'Deco Vestito' is a sharp mix of grey, black and gold.  Stunning.

I am really loving the jewelery of Dita Tran's label, FuLo.  These earrings are made for the dress and the mixture of bangles shown on the right of the picture are stunning.

Again I'm wearing Glam Affair's Amberly Petal Edition skin, this time shown in the Golden option.

Drop Dead Gorgeous.

I found a new shop.  Well new to me.  The label is Drop and I found it during one of my jaunts around SL.  I had to give it a go and grabbed this jacket and pants.  Needless to say I was again thrilled with my purchase from a shop previously unknown to me.  The unusual flannel jacket sports two tone tartan and the voluminous knit pants feature print leggings.  I encourage you to to have a look at Drop.  It's got some great stuff and the guys are catered for too.

I'm wearing another hair from Kik called Atmos which comes with this hair flower.  Because the lovely people at Kik made the flower modifiable, I changed the color to match the hue of the jacket.  I found this smart handbag and shoes at The Secret Store.

Some earrings from Glow Studio finish it off and I'm done.  I think I might go out for lunch.

I Got Zaara'fied.

I walked into Zaara with paper money in my purse.  I walked out with a few coins.  But who can blame me with all that fabulous fashion lining the walls.  Its a wonder I didn't walk out with an IOU.

I got Zaara'fied with this beautiful top and pants that feature amazing textures and worth ever cent.  The top is called 'Zayba Cross Top' in Sand and comes with flowers that sit across the bias cut.  I love the asymmetrical bottom and delicate creases and clever shading that creates dimension.

The lycra knee shorts are called 'Tara' shown in gold and come in a short or knee length version.  Such a rich and extravagant pattern which is purely appreciated when worn.  The little gold beaded bag is from Glow Studio called 'My Pride'.

I found these really smart Wedge Boots at a store I hadn't been to before, Marshmallows.  I was really pleasantly surprised at their stock so be sure go have a look see.  With a touch resize menu, they're easy as pie to fit.  The color shown here is white.

If you will indulge me another picture, I found this hair at Kik.  The name of it is 'Fine' in platinum.  They have some sensational hair and I couldn't help but pick up a few styles.  Loving the wind swept, wispy look they have achieved.

I've stocked up on some more clothes so am looking forward to styling them for future posts.  Take care gorgeous ones. xx

You know I hate to admit this, but I DETEST doing my links to the stores.  I absolutely want to give them credit and provide my readers with limo's at the touch of a click but gawd it gets tedious....ok whinge over.

Don't Go For Second Best Baby...VoguE.

I went shopping at VoguE last night and was so pleasantly surprised by all the fabulous outfits.  Designer Zalyn Bailey has created a huge clothing collection from lingerie to formal ball gowns and everything in between.  I particularly loved the items to the left of the store as you enter and I wondered if these pieces may be her newest designs because of the superb quality and in my opinion, there was a more stylized aesthetic to the clothes.

The color of this dress just drew me in and my bank balance didn't stand a chance.  The dress is called 'Joan' ($299L) in Olive and the detail on the texture and intricate shading brings this dress to life.  Close up it simply knocks my socks off.  I also purchased the 'Marilla' Jacket {$299L) in Onyx with a stiff peaked collar and 'Sharmine' Stole ($80L) also in Olive.  For eyes that pop, I added VoguE Model tattoo Eye Makeup (Series 2-F $50L) and am confident to bat an eyelid in anyone's direction.  Don't take my word for it, go VoguE, go VoguE.

I keep crediting him post after post, but I wanted to officially thank Ikon Inovia, the eye designer from Fashism for giving us the most stunning peepers in SL.  You must know our souls pretty well by now darling.

Perhaps I'm being a bitchy blogger but do others wish that sometimes a designer would stop by their blog from time to time just to acknowledge your efforts when you showcase their creation(s)??  I guess I'm contradicting myself because I do blog because I love it and not for external reward; however, I rarely ever get any form of acknowledgement...just a 'thanks for that' or 'I like what you did'.  Maybe I'm just hormonal and it won't stop me doing what I love but just a little SOMETHING just to know they've seen it would be nice.  What do others think?  See, now I've scared everyone off.

Leverocci and Mimikri Work For Me!

Take one AMAZING mesh skirt from Leverocci and add some Mimikri magic to make two different looks.

I just couldn't be happier about the end result of this look.  The stunningly patterned and textured mesh skirt from Leverocci is so clever in its construction and has a satin sheen.  Available in XXS, XS, S, M and L, there's a size for most figures and costs only $150L.  I wanted to bring out the soft blue in the skirt and found the Fur Stole (faux of course) at Mimikri for $200L.  Its dreamy to say the least and the satin bow at the waist pulls it all together.  I also found the Black Sweater with uber bell bottom sleeves at Mimikri for $250L.  I love the form.

The Shopping:
Shoes: Pascal Sock shoes in Oil from Leverocci - color change socks ($800L)
Hair: Tae in Platinum from Kik ($100L)

Now we go for a less sophisticated look still using my Leverocci skirt.  Again its more Mimikri with the Kay Black Blazar ($350L) and Nica Lurex top in pale blue ($200L).  I picked up the gorgeous Blackbird Handbag at Label Mode and again, I'm wearing the Leverocci Pascal Sock shoes opting for a lighter sock color.

There's some weird stuff going on in the fashion world atm.  I don't really know what because I don't use any of the social networking site's in my SL anymore and they often give you the good oil on what's happening in the zoo.  With a new blog that's just hit town of the expose kind and some strange comments over at Agency Report, I'm beginning to wonder if some of you have gone bonkers. Seriously sweeties....while I'm all for a little ego stroking SL fling if that's your wish, apart from a few genuine relationships that make it through the labyrinth of obstacles and transcend into RL, I hope you realize there's some danger in putting all your eggs into a basket that doesn't really exist.  Maybe it's all role play and I'm the one out of sync, but I've seen a lot of people spill tears while role playing if that's the case.  Ask yourself this.  Do you deserve real hands giving you real hugs?  If so, don't accept anything less.

Let Me Tell You A Secret.................

Take one striking Kimono coat ($240L) with paisley pattern from The Secret Store and one  Menorca dress ($350L) in mustard from CheerNo, Add a red knot belt ($50L) from Voix and strings of pearls from +plus that I colored to match and you have a great little look going on.

Never forget to check the permissions on your items lovies because quite often you can make color modifications that personalizes your outfit for that uniqueness we all crave.

Finding some heels for my little outfit was quite a challenge but I persevered until I came across these Loordes Of London Asrid Booties in Regal Blue ($75L) sold at the Tropicana Baazar.

I love my newest bag purchase called Resort Satchel ($250L) in Pumpkin from Leverocci.  Seriously folks.  You MUST go check out Leverocci's stuff, especially the shoes, but not before I blog them or I'll hunt you down and smack you with my purse.

As for the rest, Cha's wearing Kaja hair ($100L) in Platinum from Kik, Gold and Coral earrings from Simay Creations, Lotus ring from Kunglers, Prim nails from Pixel Mode, Claudia 2 Milky Glow skin from Laq and Love My Eyeliner and Mascara Tattoo from Boom.

Anyway that's it from me.  Hope you all had a wonderful New Year.  While I'm sad Christmas/New Year is over for another year, my body needs a serious detox so perhaps its for the best if I want to see 2013.

Wisteria Lane.

I'm backing up my last post with another dress from Couverture.  It was the amazing color of this dress that caught my eye.  Chocolate Arashi calls the color Wisteria and it has a feminine and whimsical feel to it.  Titled 'Zepher', it has the finest spaghetti straps with prim ribbons at the shoulders and features a geometric pattern in the lace.

I returned to [kik] for some more hair love and found this great style called Atmos shown here in platinum. I'm hair over heels in love with the platinum tone and couldn't stop at one purchase so more to come from  [kik] in future posts..  The hair flower also comes with Atmos and I colored it to match the dress.

I chose the delicate Nouveau Rose jewelery set in lilac from Eclectica.

My most exciting purchase of the day has to be these gorgeous wedge sandals called 'Monique' in Icy Rose from DeLa.  I have long been a DeLa fan girl and Kuranosuko Kamachi's footwear is just getting better and better if that's possible.

Well Miss Virtual World is nearly upon us.  In around 4 hours the candidates will take the stage for the marathon event.  Having been in the competition myself a few years ago representing my country as Miss Australia, I remember the stress I felt that lasted for around 6 hours if memory serves me correctly.  Constantly on edge trying to ensure I was rezzed, had the right clothes on, hit my marks all while trying not to crash gave me a mega headache.  For me this all began at around 4am so by the time the winner was announced, I was delirious and said a prayer of thanks for not being chosen as I'd never have been able to produce a coherent sentence.  Good luck to all the girls.  Have fun but remember, winning can be a huge burden so be careful what you wish for.  Don't forget your dignity particularly in defeat because your behavior will be remembered long after the fan fare has died down while what you wore will not.
