Wanna See My Pom Pom's?

I love dresses and I love even more that with the introduction of mesh, dresses have improved out of sight.  This gorgeous number I picked up at ArisAris called 'Red and Black Pom Poms' but I'm kicking myself because it was only after taking the pics that I realised it came with a red necklace and a feathered belt.  I do apologise to ArisAris that I was so stupid and did not represent their dress in its entirety.  Regardless, I still adore it, particularly the material texture that resembles heavy thick woven linen.  Because I'm a leggings lover, I popped on these 3/4 length one's from Gawk.

I'm wearing another favorite hair from Tableau Vivant called 'Campbell'.  It comes with an extension for an even fuller look but I haven't shown it here.

The bag was a great pick up from Revanche called 'Gina's Glock Clutch' that has gun emblem's on the front.  I purchased it on Marketplace because I was running out of time to get this look blogged.  As you know, I'm a great supporter of actually visiting shops in-world to keep them there and not exclusively selling on Marketplace.

The stunning bracelets and watch I purchased from Gizza called 'Asia' and the detailing is wonderful to see close up.

I found these fab shoes at Essenz called 'Paris' in Red.  The detailing is magnificent; however, I did have to fiddle around with them a lot so that they fit my leg perfectly but well worth the trouble for shoes of this caliber.  They come with blender socks but I'm really rubbish at skin matching but got there in the end and this fixed the issue I had with the seam of the leg showing.

My pics are taken at a beautiful sim called 'Reflections of Beauty' and know you will love it for photo taking as I did.

Berry's Autumn Challenge.

I do enjoy participating in Berry's challenges/meme's and this one was no exception because it gave me an excuse, as if I need one, to go out shopping to find my interpretation of an autumn outfit.  Getting out and about using the in-world search option certainly takes me to some strange places.  But I love to meet new people and see new things and that's why I love SL so much.

I ended up at the wonderful clothing house Legal Insanity.  Their stuff is insane, insanely great.  I purchased this mink coat (faux of course) and the beautifully pleated trousers both in chocolate.  To liven things up and add some autumn colors, I purchased a gold scarf from NC Paris and brought out my JD Design Hearty Clutch in sand.  I also popped on the Nikki strappy heels from Redgrave and color changed them to gold.

I'm wearing the new release hair from Truth called 'Felicity'....a winner Mr Hawks.

It wasn't until I brought up Berry's blog for the link that I realized we went to the same place to take our pics, being 'Small Town Green'.  It was the autumn-iest place I could think of at the time so sorry Berry.

Anyway, on to the meme:

1. Is autumn your favorite season? Why or why not?
No it's not my favorite season but I do love it when the tree's turn russet.  I don't like cleaning the leaves up all the time though.  My favorite season is definitely summer.  I should have been born in Fiji or Bali or some other tropical locale.  I thrive in tropical heat but on the other hand, I've only holidayed in really hot and humid countries.  I don't know how I'd go living, going to work, shopping etc.  Its much more fun laying by the pool asking Ketut for a Mai Tai.

2. Do you call it autumn or fall?
Well being from Australia, we don't call it fall although we should with all the bloody leaves I've picked up this season.

3. What kind of weather does your area get during this season?
I just checked on-line for this information and converted it so it makes sense.  Our autumn is in March, April and May with an average temperature in Melbourne of 16.5 ℃ (61.7 ℉).  What I think is so amazing about nature is the fact that these months are usually windy which blows the leaves from the tree's.  Someone knew what they were doing when they created this planet.

4. What color do you associate with autumn?
Russet tones probably because I have a lot of red maples and liquid amber's at home.

5. Which autumn themed sim is your favorite at the moment?
I can only remember Small Town Green but I know there must be heaps more I've yet to discover.

Lemon, Lime But I'm Not Bitter.

Today I'm featuring another wonderful Sascha's Designs gown called 'Fools' in luscious lime.  It's fairytale couture at its finest.  Whimsical, floaty and definitely a head turner as you sashay through the crowd, you have numerous options in terms of skirt type, collar and hat.  Available in fire, gold, metal blue, pink, silver and of course, lime, you have no excuse not to shine.

I chose to wear the 'Ballerina' hair from TuTy's given this dress is definitely made for dancing.

I just knew I'd find a pair of shoes at JD Designs made for this dress and I did.  I purchased another pair of 'Excess' heels but really, any excuse for a shop up at JD and I'm there. lol.

This morning I had the privilege of watching the Miss Virtual World 2014 Opera Challenge sponsored by Maddox DuPont, KMADD, RGF Estates and Lazuri whereby the participants had to give a visual interpretation of various opera's using fashion.  It was seriously brilliant and all of the girls did an outstanding job putting together their outfits from a variety of sources.  When I hear people bag the competition and consider the models are not doing anything too difficult, I wince because the challenges are really tough and do require a lot of imagination, networking, stamina and a big dose of artistic prowess.  While I'm rooting for Miss Australia, I consider each and every one of them the best of luck and congratulate you on your amazing work today.

A Date With Bogart.

I felt like creating some old world glamor but with a little twist.  I found this stunner of a mesh dress in a gorgeous eggplant color and animal patterned vibrant print panels running down the sides from CIA Designs, a store I was unfamiliar with.  When I spotted it I thought the cut was so elegant but the streaks of color transformed it from your average long gown.  I accessorized using the lime green to accentuate the splashes of color.

The bag is such a good match and I was happy to find it at the Alexandra Sautereau Collection.

The hair is from Paper Couture fittingly named 'Bacall Bob'.

The earrings and bracelets are from Mandala.  I love the silhouette of this dress, very classic but with a modern feel.

I took these pics at 'Ghostsville', a great sim for photo taking.

The Chains That Bind.

Hi precious ones.  Well I visited the new look Glam Affair and got me some demo skins which I intend to try on when I've finished this post.  It looks great Ms Ewing.  Wonderful build :-)

Today I'm wearing an outfit I've been storing in my 'to blog' file from Amarelo Manga called 'Tilla'.  I'm so into these mesh tops that sit just off the body in lacy material.  The shirt is ever so nice and silky looking.  I actually have something similar in my RL wardrobe.

The pants are quite out there and there's definitely a touch of Chanel © about them.  I purchased the bag from Glam Affair. which I love.

I popped on my Gos Lolita Espadrilles and am ready for a ride in my convertible to go shopping.  I need to go stock up on some new blogging outfits cause its pay day and I got money to burn.

Oh and this great little do is from Kik called 'Fiona' in Platinum.  Gawd I love Kik hair.

Thought for the day.  I've seen and known a few people around with the sir name 'Littlething'.  I wonder how many guys opted for that when they joined SL and could pick their last name?

WELL ARE YOU COMING SHOPPING OR WHAT?

Street Cred.

Today I've got something a little different.  Cha's got down and urbanized in an outfit entirely from Envious. This store offers incredible value for money as many of the items come complete in the folder including accessories.

This look is called 'Lost Ourselves' which incorporates the razor sliced jumper, jeans, belt, gun, holster and authentic looking chucks.  There is also finger tape and a leg bandana which is not worn. This is street wear at its best.

The hair and beanie is a great match for this look and comes from [JP]:dsg called 'Jimmy'.  I'm a big [JP] fan because everything I've purchased there has exceeded my expectations and simply works when I put it on.

I found these 'Mad Clown' earrings from Glow Studio and the chains are from Mandala.

The slits in the jumper are a great addition and I wore this cute 'Bollywood Bag' from Kari.

Whether you're on a budget or not, Envious definitely has something for everyone at such affordable prices.  This is a seriously well put together quality outfit from top to bottom.  The jumper is mesh but the jeans are not and have prim bottoms but they match so well you can't distinguish them from the actual pant which is good tailoring in my opinion.

We Need Black And White And Every Shade In Between.

While life's not black and white, Cha certainly is.  I've been going through my 'To Blog' folder and found this 'Horizon' mesh mini skirt from Boom.  Skirts have been one of the biggest winners with the introduction of mesh in my opinion.  I remember the old skirts with prim parts that never seemed to stay in place.  So I set about creating a look around the skirt.

Determined not to simply go out and buy a top but check my brimming folder for something, I found the 'Elsa' shirt from Crazy Clothes.

The hair is a new release from LeLutka called 'Sato'.

The fab belt is from LeLutka called 'Mi Vida' belt and hugs the waist perfectly.  The scarf I picked up at Zeery's called 'Kingdom Animalia Silk Scarf' in Zebra print.  If you're looking for great scarves, go to Zeery's.  The necklace was a group gift from Pure Poison so get yourself joined up because Ms Shaleene Kenin is very generous with sending her members fabulous gifts.

The bag I picked up at CheerNo when it catered for women so is possibly no longer available but you could ask CheerNo's owner if the bag is still in existence and he is willing to sell it.  It's a great bag called 'Kamala' and looks great with the outfit.

The 'Salience' shoes with socks I purchased from Maitreya when they had their last sale...let me tell you, I was clicking everything like a man woman possessed.  I love these shoes and this was the first time I tried them on.  I always felt that the Salience shoe should have received shoe of the year when they initially came out if there was such an award.

Now on to my Flickr pics.  I simply cannot believe how many hits I have received when I check my stats.  Nearly 7,000 yesterday and well up in the thousands most days.  OMG what's happened lately? While I try to see life with 'the glass half full' mentality, I was suspicious that maybe Flickr was broken but no...people are actually looking at my pics :-)  Thank you so much Flickrites.  I consider that an honor.  Now if only I could get those 7000 to hit up my blog lol.

I'm So Transparent.

Check out this fabulous see through top sent to me by ASO.  It comes in grey, green, moss, yellow, pink and white.  For modesty's sake I popped on a little cami top from Bliss.  I purchased a heap of T's and cami's that aren't mesh from Bliss to wear under mesh garments.

I'm wearing another hair from Diva called Mana.  As I've said before, I'm in love with this hair and went back to the store to buy more.

I chose these harem pants from Little Petits Details and wore them in the transparent option.  Would you believe there are 6 people in these pants?  lol

For a little color I added the necklace from Glow Studio and earrings from Eskimo Fashion.

I have to say I love this fresh clean look and the ASO top is fabulous.  It really does resemble a light lace top that sits just off the body for that realistic look that only mesh can provide.

I'm so pleased that I persevered at the Belleza gacha machine and obtained nearly all the Leila skins available.  It's about time Cha moved away from only pale skins and I asked Felicity Blumenthal from Belleza which skin tones belonged to which numbers.  She kindly responded and I went and purchased all of the Slink hand and feet appliers corresponding to the skins I purchased.  I look forward to the day, if it ever comes, where all skin makers provide the appliers with every skin purchase.

SL was being mean tonight and I could only log in to Cyclops and then when I tried to get the links for this post, some area's were unavailable on the map so if any of the links below don't work, yell at SL.

Make Mine A Flirtini Please.

Today I've got a cute casual outfit and I've been dying to blog these fantastic jeans from [JP]:dsg for ages.  One of the best pair of jeans I've found in SL because of the smart details such as mobile phone, keys and handkerchief poking out of the back pocket.  Don't you love it when designers go the extra mile and strive for realism?  I know I appreciate it.

I have a love affair with Diva hair.  Its the realistic wispy windswept look of many of their styles that capture my attention.  This style is 'Sayaka 3' in Moonstone.

I wearing the 'Steampunk Open Secrets' necklace and earrings from Pixel Box.  I love it because you can put your photo in the locket and really personalize it.

The top is called 'Flirtini' from Mon Cheri.  I like the fact that while it's cropped, my boobs aren't visible.  I must admit, I don't like that look at all.  Its like the dress maker ran out of material lol.

Now tell me these aren't great looking jeans?  You can change the colors of the accessories or wear them dirty or clean.  I chose dirty cause Chalice doesn't wash...she throws out her clothes after she wears them.

The bangles and watch are from 7891 called 'Aurbierre'.  Its a really chunky over sized set of jewellery that looks great.

This is the 'Garbo Clutch' from Little Petits Details.  God they made great bags.

I wonder if other bloggers experience my dilemma?  While I love to go shop at all the big events, I tend to stay away because I know by the time I blog the items, other bloggers will have beat me to it and the feeds will be full of the same stuff.  I really strive to feature items I find on my travels that perhaps haven't been blogged, yet I always feel I'm missing out on some fabulous fashion.  I guess you can't be everywhere and do everything eh?

I notice that the 32 official Miss Virtual World candidates have been named for 2014.  Good luck girls because you're going to need it.  It's a marathon undertaking but well worth the experience.  May I be so bold as to say "GO MISS AUSTRALIA"?    I notice that Miss Averil Resident (Miss USA) is chronicling her journey of Miss Virtual World on her blog 'The Lovely World Of SL Modeling', so you might be interested to get the perspective of what it takes from someone in the competition.

Champagne Chalice.

Oh I do love it when I receive a gown from Sascha's Designs.  I always know before I open the box it is going to be stunning.  This 'Natalya' dress is certainly no exception.  It is definitely one of my favorites.  I chose to show the red because it is so rich of color and eye catching.

Look at that amazing pattern which shimmers in the light.  I'm wearing it with the shoulder piece and frilled bodice.

Now that is what I call a gown.  All I need now is a partner to go to the ball.  Any takers?

I Pia'd My Pants.

Oh I know, the title!  But I couldn't resist it when featuring my new Pia Pants from Pure Poison Fashion. While waiting to get into The Arcade...will some of you leave so I can get in...I styled this outfit using a bit of this and that.

I love Pure Poison and when I spied these striped pants, thought they looked unusual and grabbed them.  I purchased the 'Bandhni Hanky Top' from Zaara's capitalizing on the 50% sale.

They're like snazzy jodhpurs but I'm not riding a horse, just these uber edgy Storm Sandals from Gos.  The bracelet on the right was a group giftie also from Pure Poison.  The bracelet on the left is from Je Suis.  I'm loving Je Suis jewellery because so much of it is color change which gives you more bang for your buck.  Now the belt is no longer available unfortunately.  It was designed by Cocomitsu Mayo from UnTone which used to be one of my favorite shops.  Gosh I wish she would come back and design again...ho hum.  I bet Vixie Rayna would recall our UnTone shopping expeditions way back when dinosaurs roamed SL.

I'm all curly wurly with this do from Vanity Hair called 'Sonata' finished with a hair bow I recolored from ur.favorite.one.  The fantastic bag with feather embellishment is from Attic on Marketplace.

Pictures are taken on a lovely sim called 'Maria Lynn Falls'.

Now I'm off to see if I can get into The Arcade.  Make way people, I've got an umbrella and I ain't afraid to use it.

Love from me.

I'm Telling You To ShuShu.

I'm loving the label ShuShu darlings.  According to ShuShu's designer, ShuShu Congrejo, she is the RL daughter of one of SL's most innovative designers, AnaLee Balut from ALB Fashions.  Its obvious the apple doesn't fall far from the tree when you look at ShuShu's couture collection.  Its fun and fab for those who like their fashion vibrant and unique.

This mesh outfit is called 'Glam Affair' and comes with the knit bolero and waist bow.

This is so fashion forward when you look at the layering of the flower patterned skirt, flouncy over dress and strategically placed bolero with two wooden buttons keeping it in place.  Brilliant designing Ms ShuShu.

I threw on some sunnies from Tabloid and the 'Louis' bag from OhLaLa.  The leggings are from Art Decade.

The fabulous shoes are the 'Marilyn' sandals from GOS shown here in burgundy.  I most certainly am a ShuShu fan and want to add that if you join the group, there are some great gifties available.  Now ShuShu...go buy.

Avant-garde Meets Jacket.

When I first laid eyes on this jacket from the House of Fox I knew it had to be mine.  It wasn't only the fact that it was candy pink, my favorite, but that it was fused with color and 'tailored' with a geometric lean.  I found these color change earrings called 'Maysoon' from Lazuri.  I love it when designs provide a color change script for jewelery, especially earrings.  You get so much more wear from them when you can co-ordinate them with your outfits.

In direct opposition to the formality of the highly tailored jacket, I chose a more casual pairing with the pink denim mesh shorts from ShuShu Trend, an off shoot from the fabulous ALB Dream Fashion label.  They really look fantastic on.

I found me this luscious lipped clutch from Alexandra Sautereau who makes the most fashion forward bags and clutches around.

The bow hair attachment is made by blackliquid purchased from the Love Donna Flora Event and I matched it with a hair base from Analog Dog in the color 'Jet'.  The watch and rings are also from Donna Flora.  The blue bracelet is from another favorite jeweler, FuLu, called Eugenie.

Out come my most favorite Tri-Colored Wedges from SLINK which I colored in an array of pinks.

I had so much fun styling this outfit around the House of Fox jacket.  I'm a fan girl of that label and have been for years.  It's always an interesting fashion journey when you find that one piece and begin to style because you never know where you'll end up.

I'm preparing for another Cha's Flash Fash Cash Comp so keep a watchful eye to see if you are featured and you could win $1000L if you are the first to comment with your SL name.  There were no winner's in my first attempt but being the eternal optimist, will keep plugging away.

PS: Belleza has now released SLINK Feet Appliers.  YAY Tricky B...you rock.

Quirky Casual.

During my recent shopping trip to NuDoLu, I found this unusual top in the most lovely muted tones and Aztec design pattern.  I'm always looking for something different and a bit quirky when styling for my posts because my fashion tastes lean that way in RL.  While I adore black, my RL wardrobe is an eclectic mix of colors with loads of accessories such as hats, scarves, gloves and heaps of costume jewelery.  I find when I'm feeling insecure, I turn to black but when I'm on top of my game, my colors come out.

I found the striking head piece while trawling through Marketplace from Lode called 'Bittersweet'.  I re-colored it to match the minty tones of the top and so appreciate when hats or hair adornments are modifiable so I can coordinate it with my clothing.  The hair is a new release from Truth called 'Qopi' and the falling curls at the side are very flattering and soft around the face.

The mesh tunic top comes with an array of colored tops to wear underneath and I chose the mint.  I remembered my lace cycling pants from Fishy Strawberry and felt they would work well color wise.

I found this great bag at NuDoLu and love the hint of mint.  My bracelet and watch set in rose gold is from Glow Studio.

I found these gorgeous shoes at Redgrave called 'Deborah'.  They come with 12 color options using the hud and are just perfection in my opinion.  I so want these in RL.

Here's the look from a distance.  I am so pleased to have found NuDoLu and designer Neuilles Neuman.  I will certainly be keeping a close eye on that label and future releases.

I'm on location at Watchtower, specifically in an area called 'Nykio's Home' which is open to the public.  Pretty sim...go check it out.
