Make Mine A Flirtini Please.

Today I've got a cute casual outfit and I've been dying to blog these fantastic jeans from [JP]:dsg for ages.  One of the best pair of jeans I've found in SL because of the smart details such as mobile phone, keys and handkerchief poking out of the back pocket.  Don't you love it when designers go the extra mile and strive for realism?  I know I appreciate it.

I have a love affair with Diva hair.  Its the realistic wispy windswept look of many of their styles that capture my attention.  This style is 'Sayaka 3' in Moonstone.

I wearing the 'Steampunk Open Secrets' necklace and earrings from Pixel Box.  I love it because you can put your photo in the locket and really personalize it.

 
The top is called 'Flirtini' from Mon Cheri.  I like the fact that while it's cropped, my boobs aren't visible.  I must admit, I don't like that look at all.  Its like the dress maker ran out of material lol.

Now tell me these aren't great looking jeans?  You can change the colors of the accessories or wear them dirty or clean.  I chose dirty cause Chalice doesn't wash...she throws out her clothes after she wears them.

The bangles and watch are from 7891 called 'Aurbierre'.  Its a really chunky over sized set of jewellery that looks great.

This is the 'Garbo Clutch' from Little Petits Details.  God they made great bags. 

I wonder if other bloggers experience my dilemma?  While I love to go shop at all the big events, I tend to stay away because I know by the time I blog the items, other bloggers will have beat me to it and the feeds will be full of the same stuff.  I really strive to feature items I find on my travels that perhaps haven't been blogged, yet I always feel I'm missing out on some fabulous fashion.  I guess you can't be everywhere and do everything eh?

I notice that the 32 official Miss Virtual World candidates have been named for 2014.  Good luck girls because you're going to need it.  It's a marathon undertaking but well worth the experience.  May I be so bold as to say "GO MISS AUSTRALIA"?    I notice that Miss Averil Resident (Miss USA) is chronicling her journey of Miss Virtual World on her blog 'The Lovely World Of SL Modeling', so you might be interested to get the perspective of what it takes from someone in the competition.

And I Think To Myself...What A Wonderful World.

After watching Squinternet Larnia (Giulia) sing that song so beautifully on YouTube sounding to me very much like Marlene Dietrich, I haven't stopped singing it all day.  Let's not forget what a wonderful world it is particularly when a group of people come together in a virtual world to pay tribute to someone they admire, not only with their words, but with donations to help ease the financial burden.  I read someone saying that they never loved SL more than now once the money was tallied up.  So true. 

Anyway, on to what Squinternet loved so much, the fashion.  Today I've fused Zaara with Molichino and love the result.  The beautiful top from Zaara looks to be inspired by Middle Eastern textiles with stunning gold motifs that glisten in the light.  The long skirt has a lovely belt and buckle and flows so delicately when you walk.

  

I accessorized heavily with this look, wearing a range of jewellery from various designers.  The bag is gorgeous from House Of Fox called 'Roman Bag'.  What I'm loving about SL these days after Siddean Monro devised her stunning feet and hands, is that rings and bracelets look so wonderful when they used to be the ugliest part of any avi.  Just a word to jewellery makes however, can you please ensure that you don't limit the reduction size of rings?  I have purchased some that are huge and will only reduce to a certain size which is still much to big to fit on one's finger.  Some rings I've put on cover nearly three fingers and unless you are producing for a Yeti, is not realistic for a normal avatar hand.

And speaking of Slink, these strappy little numbers are called LuLu Add-on shoes in Chocolate.  So clever the way the straps wrap around the heel.  Isn't it always the small details that takes something to a new level of fabulousness?

Come Into My Dressing Room Said The Fashionista To The Fashionata.

Well my dears, day two of not being able to have fun in The Arcade saw me visit The Dressing Room for a shop-a-thon and I found me some goodness.  The hair is a beauty in a huge variety of colors from LoQ Hair called 'Donut' shown in Caramel.  The mesh top and skirt are from Ricielli called 'Papi 11 Jumpsuit' in Pink and Nude.  Its a lovely little outfit and I love the belt and cuffs which really set it off.  Finally the skin is from Al Vulo called 'Cecilla'.  All are bargains and that's what is wonderful about these events where designers contribute their wares for us to enjoy without having to rob a bank.

The draping of the shirt over the belt and folds of the skirt are what make mesh so special.

I used the color change menu on the 'Ireben Carry All' bag from Indyra Originals to compliment the skirt and found these great suede boots from Maitreya called 'Radical'.

Some earrings from Pixel Box from the 'Steampunk Open Secrets' set and a group gift necklace from Pure Poison Fashion were added along with the suede 'Mery' gloves from Celoe and I'm done.

Now Listen To Me Skin Makers.

Here in dear old Melbourne it's cold, raining and windy so its just as well I can virtually enjoy a summers day wearing a gorgeous floral summer dress to cheer me up.  This is another outfit from the label ASO aptly called 'Summer Dress' in flower pink.  There are a plethora of options available for every taste but girly me chose pink.  Bravo to designer Menieelee Gelles for this fabulous dress.

 
Its ever so pretty and I'm truly appreciating the ability of mesh to provide such realistic folds and drape.  The hair I chose is another from 'Hair Fair', this time from LeLutka called 'Alvina' shown with the pony tail option.  The necklace is a beauty from Malt and has color change options for the beads so I chose pink, green and white.  The bracelet on the left was a gift sent out to members of Pixel Box and on the right from C'est la vie.

The cute clutch I purchased on Marketplace from a store called Avale.  Beautifully made - just look at the leather folds which make it ever so realistic.

Here's another view of the bag.  I donned some cool white sunnies from Ison when the sun came out.

I purchased the fat pack of these shoes when Maitreya had their sale recently.  Just look at the work in them...those heels are so lovely and resemble snake skin which is an option with the shoes.  Called 'Shiki', I am so grateful that I could fat pack not feeling so guilty when the 50% sale was on.

Here's another really lovely sim I just discovered called 'Black Forest'.  I get such a buzz finding new places where clever people have created some kind of wonderful with amazing attention to detail.

ACHTUNG SKIN MAKERS:

Now I'm not a whinging whiny person by nature but I feel I must speak up on behalf of all lovers of SLINK hands and feet.  Why aren't more skin makers creating hand and feet skin appliers so we can all enjoy delightful digits rather than the crumby ugly ones on the stock standard avatar?  Please, PLEASE provide these in your store. I personally cannot imagine why you don't because I've reched the stage where I won't buy skins unless these are available.  I'm rubbish at manual matching and won't even try.  I'm sure I'm not alone in this so do us all a favor and get on board.

Cross My Heart But Hope I Don't Die.

Hello darlings.  Well we've just entered July and I can't believe that over half the year has gone by.  Today I've put together a little number featuring the 'Hunter Dress' by Pixel Box.  I love the texture...I can't really describe it only to say it looks like a tightly knitted dress interspersed with rows of loose cross stitch.  White crosses adorn the front of the dress and as we know, religious iconology, particularly the cross, has made a fashion come back from the 80's and 90's.

Thank goodness I remembered these Ero Sensei earrings from Mandala that I purchase a little while back.  Just perfect for the job IMO.

I found this 'Sweety Girl' hat at VCO and utilized the hair base and stringed plait attachment that came with the Eclat make up series from LeLutka.  The bag is also from Pixel Box called 'Dark Cross' and I used the touch menu to reduce the size.

I love the sim Hazardous at Misali where these pics were taken.  If you''re not familiar with it, do go exploring as its perfect for photo taking.   Here' I'm taking a load off my new fabulous 'Tri Color Wedge' add-on shoes from Slink.

I was a BAD, BAD girl.  I purchased the fat pack but who could blame me given the sensational color range available.  That was like taking me to lunch and saying I could have only one little sip of Shiraz...not possible!  For a little added interest, I wore these anklets from LouLou, so in the interests of false advertising, the anklets are not a part of the Slink shoes.  My nails are from the vast collection of avatar enhancement nails made by Flair...see, they're black and white?

The bracelet I'm wearing is from Pure Poison called 'Wicki Spike' and I love it along with the Motsumame Rings shown in Black/Silver from Mandala.  For me, since Siddean created my most favorite possessions ever to be housed in my inventory, my Slink hands 'n' feet, rings have become such an important part of my styling.   
                   
Is anyone else having troubles TP'ing and when you land, items are missing from your body?  Its happening so often and gets annoying having to click where the items are in order for them to show up for me.  If you have any ideas on how to fix this, can you let me know?  I downloaded the latest version of SL (Shining version I think it's called) but it did terrible things with the color of mesh items and all the water was just grey.  It was almost like a haze until you cammed in close enough then you could see the color/texture as it should be seen.  Quickly re-loaded the older version and everything is back to normal. Its all very well encouraging people to get ready for their new 'Sunshine' extravaganza but what's the point if they haven't completely fixed the fading of textures?

Two Skulls Are Better Than One....If You Need Book Ends That Is.

Hey man, I've got my groove on in Mesh Head again.  The fabulous Frances Cocarerra sent me this skull head corset complete with texture change hud for those days when you can't decide what color mood you're in.  Thanks so much.  I'm a Mesh Head fan girl because I can see the work that goes into the intricate details on each piece.  Like its not your average corset, this one has rings attached and realistic seams to name but a few features.

 
These jeans are also from Mesh Head.  Look at the fading, creases and belt...brilliant.

The great back pack is from Pixel Box.  Again, interesting details abound.

Well another day, another dollar.  Thank goodness because there's so many magnificent goodies in SL at the moment I've developed a strategy of waiting 5 seconds before each purchase asking myself 'do I need it?'  I fear the answer most of the time is 'yes, yes, yes'.

In my previous posts I have mentioned the label Pixel Box and today I'm featuring the striking lace top, steam punk boots and bag from that shop.  Practically stole them, the prices were so low and that's always a thrill when you open the box, attach it and go 'Ooooo yeah'.

To me, the top is so pretty and delicate but I decided to pop a top under it rather than leave it semi see through.  I'm also thrilled with the skirt I recently purchased from Insanya called 'Ruby Mini Skirt' in black.  Loving the zips up the sides and silver studded belt.

As with many of the jewelery pieces sold at Pixel Box, you can place your photo in the lockets etc and as you can see here, the 'Dark Cross' bag has a label near the cream lace decoration to add your own picture as I have done.  The 'Mrs Daisy Bray' steam punk boots are decorated with lots of sweet embellishments.

Here's the entire outfit and I really love it from head to toe.  I'm again wearing the Amberly Petal Edition skin from Glam Affair and was so happy to find a Skin Applier for that specific tone.  Good on you Aida...you rock.

Opinions Are Like Nipples...Everyone Has Them But Some Are More Pointed Than Others.

Anyone for nachos?  Well they were certainly on the menu at Shopping Cart Disco's SLecrets this week.  Not that I have a clue what it means but it did give me a laugh.

I did something different yesterday in respect to my blog.  I applied to become a Hair Fair 2013 blogger.  I feel I want to give something back given I cover very little in the way of events although if we're talking $$$$$$$, I do give back rather generously across the grids lol.

Today I'm a goody in a hoody.  It's from Blitzed and while it's not mesh, who cares?  It fits bloody wonderful and has lots of terrific prim details to make it interesting.

My hair is from a shop I found called Tameless Hair.  I'd never heard of it before but I'm loving what I've purchased there. I'm very impressed with the quality and find the hair tattoo's so very realistic as a base for the attachments.

Earrings are from Pure Poison and the necklace from one of my new favorite shops, Pixel Box.  They're having a sale so don't be tardy...get in there and shop, shop, shop.

I'm really into good quality, unusual pants at the moment and found this pair from 20 FIVE called Jin Capri's.  Now you really get your money's worth because it comes with a fabric change hud giving you 5 different options.

I'm again wearing the Slink Fabric Platform shoes that work with the Slink Natural Feet.  Easier to put on than my own shoes to be sure.

Loving this bag from Pure Poison Fashion called 'Jackie Studded Mesh Handbag' shown in the brown tone.  My fabulous bangles are also from Pure Poison called 'Love Stacked' bracelets in nude and red.  I have had a big spend up at Pure Poison recently because not only are their items very reasonably priced, I find the details intricate and designs unique.

Chalice's bottom lip is protruding in that princessy, spoiled brat type look.  She isn't participating in Berry's Meme because there's nothing she can teach anyone...well maybe apart from shopping but then we're all Dux of Class in that respect.

I Got Diva And I Ain't Afraid To Show It.

Darlings!  This hair alone deserves a few pictures for this post.  I love, no, I ADORE it.  Without doubt, it is my favorite hair I own and that's saying a lot given I have #### in my inventory.  No I can't be bothered to count plus it will shock me and I might turn grey.  It is called 'Sayaka3' from Diva. 

My look today evolved from purchasing the 'Victoria Dot' top from Mirror's Enigma.  I just love the soft, muted tones in cream, beige and a minty tone.  I then found these smart shorts from Tee*fy called 'Aimiee Tailored Ribbon' shorts in Mint.

I threw on a cardigan from Tram just in case the weather turned chilly.  Isn't it just the sweetest thing? Oh and look at the lovely hair clips that are color change.

I found the 'Rose Flower Mini Bucket' bag at Zenith.  God I love that shop.

Now I need to mention these fabo shoes from Slink called 'Lulu' in Beige.  These are an add on to the  mesh rigged medium and natural feet only.  The result my darlings is utter perfection.  I'm wearing finger and toe polish from Flair found at The Deck.  If you can't find what you want at Flair for your tootsies and fingers then you're a hard person to please.

I'm Not Up The Creek Without A KANOU!

Hello lovelies.  Before I run off to hospital tomorrow, I just wanted to get in this post for KANOU.  These sexy, barely there tops leave very little to the imagination but why make anyone wonder?  I'm loud and proud of what mah momma gave me.  Yeah I know, LL and Tuli may be my momma's but what the heck.

I've only shown three of the colors available of the 'Grace' top.  There are six in total - blue, coral, green, purple, pink and grey.  Me loves them KANOU and thank you for sending them.
