Coffee And Vanilla.

I love a good scarf and I've had this one from Vogue just waiting to blog.  Called 'Sharmine Stole' in Russet, it's the mixture of colors that drew me to it.

I chose these embroidered jeans in coffee from Bliss Couture and found that the new release bag from Boom worked really well with it. The top is from Kunglers called 'Alicia' in vanilla.  A simple silky little thing that is so versatile.

The shoes I found on Marketplace for a mere $99L and I consider them my bargain of the month.  They are from InVerse and are called Vegas Heels.  While mainly building houses/prefabs, InVerse have a small variety of shapes/skins, clothing and shoes.  You wear the hud and can change colors on all different parts of the shoes.  I love them.

I took these pictures at the new Glam Affair sim.  Looks great and I can't wait to go check out all the new releases I believe are in store.  Roll on pay day.

Avant-garde Meets Jacket.

When I first laid eyes on this jacket from the House of Fox I knew it had to be mine.  It wasn't only the fact that it was candy pink, my favorite, but that it was fused with color and 'tailored' with a geometric lean.  I found these color change earrings called 'Maysoon' from Lazuri.  I love it when designs provide a color change script for jewelery, especially earrings.  You get so much more wear from them when you can co-ordinate them with your outfits. 

In direct opposition to the formality of the highly tailored jacket, I chose a more casual pairing with the pink denim mesh shorts from ShuShu Trend, an off shoot from the fabulous ALB Dream Fashion label.  They really look fantastic on.

I found me this luscious lipped clutch from Alexandra Sautereau who makes the most fashion forward bags and clutches around.

The bow hair attachment is made by blackliquid purchased from the Love Donna Flora Event and I matched it with a hair base from Analog Dog in the color 'Jet'.  The watch and rings are also from Donna Flora.  The blue bracelet is from another favorite jeweler, FuLu, called Eugenie.

Out come my most favorite Tri-Colored Wedges from SLINK which I colored in an array of pinks.

I had so much fun styling this outfit around the House of Fox jacket.  I'm a fan girl of that label and have been for years.  It's always an interesting fashion journey when you find that one piece and begin to style because you never know where you'll end up.

Fashion First Then On To Ramonzita And Catastrophies Threat.

Ohhhh I do love green and particularly this shade.  Both the top and shorts were purchased at FaMESHed from Valentia E. Couture.  Really great shading and shine in both pieces and available in an array of other colors and combinations but for me, I chose my favorite green.

The bag is stunning and is from Tulip titled 'Indian Summer'.  I also adore the 'Gala' hair from Analog Dog.

And to the shoes...these are the new release from the Slink add-on range called 'Tri Color Wedges'.  Thank you Siddean for another superb contribution to my pretty feet.  The add-on idea makes shoe wearing so very easy.

Ramonzita and Catastophies (aka Miss Fedorova or in my world, Miss Pass-her-over)

This person is like a cockroach, scuttling around in the dark but almost impossible to eradicate.

The other day, a message was sent through one of my groups indicating that a video Ramonzita produced when hiding somewhere at the Mr Virtual World pageant which mocked every finalist and was derogatory to the LGBT community was re-done with all of the hate and vitriol removed.  I popped over to have a look at her original video which was disgusting as most of her antics are.  I commented on the hateful video she posted and this was said after a couple of comments were exchanged between us:

Chalice:
"Too old for what??? Block me if you don't want me to comment. What, don't you clean your house???? No of course you don't, you're too busy attending the opening of an envelope"  

Next she responds with a comment accusing me of, well I have no idea really.  It was her usual crap but accusing me of something to do with an envelope:

"Hmm so you're the one related to the envelope. Lets see what the "MODELS" think when i tell them they're that envelope is related to you. Ha! Bitch go back to take care of your fat body. And btw you disgust me stop using alts you already gave away the fact that you want me to copybot the models that you don't like. Kty bai".

I left it at that thinking how wrong she is again given I have no clue what she's talking about nor do I use the only two alts I've ever had.  I haven't logged into SL with them for years as I have enough trouble keeping Chalice busy.  The saying 'attending the opening of an envelope' is a very common one but in her confused state, obviously connected it to one of her many dodgy schemes.  If the message above resonates with ANY models, I can assure you I have no knowledge of what she's banging on about nor would I ever contact her to do ANYTHING for me.   She is merely a pimple on SL's arse and deserves to be made accountable for her hate filled comments and I've taken her to task for it many times.

Yeah some may say 'I'm feeding the troll', a saying that actually shits me off because I have every right to say how I feel.  I say how I feel because she discriminates against LGBT individuals consistently which incenses me no end.

She constantly refers to my avatar 'Chalice' as a fat, obese cow lady boy which is the only way she responds to any of my comments.  Well Rambo, at least the many dimensions of 'Chalice's' shape are mine, not copy botted like you seem to spend your SL doing.

Whoever you are and wherever you're from...use the shape.  Who cares.  I have so many according to which mesh item I'm wearing that I couldn't give a flying crap what you do, apart from the times you discriminate against race or sexual orientation.  THEN dear, I will involve myself if only to remind anyone reading your shit that its not okay to say it. 

As I've said many times before, I believe you only do it for the attention because you can't rouse any just being like most people in SL, living it without pissing everyone off.  But I don't care if it incites you more...I believe that its not okay to merely let you spew venom without someone calling you on it.  If others don't agree, I'm sorry, that's your opinion, to which you are entitled.   

  

Now You're Just Somebody That I Used To Know.

Fluoro is back baby.  Did it ever leave?  Not for the brave.  I picked me up some fluoro-tastic pieces starting with the 'Gradient Cutout Top' and 'Pyramids' earrings from guess where?  Fluoroescent of course.  The owner/designer, Grant Valeska-Cristy, did a fabulous job of these pieces.  His RL profile shows he's a young male designer and I'm really captivated that a young guy got this so right.  I'm not being condescending by any means because I'm just so impressed. It just goes to show that talent and ingenuity are not solely the domain of those with a few more years under their belt.

 
I found these white shredded leggings from SAKIDE in my wardrobe and thought the color really complimented the lower gradient of the top.  I found this fantastic beaded necklace set from Maxi Gossamer.  You get various necklace lengths that comes with a hud whereby you can play around with a whole combination of colors.  It's something that you can use over and over again changing the colors and lengths according to your outfits.  Very clever indeed Ms Gossamer.  She has some amazing jewellery that you don't see everyday so Chal's tip....go look.

I found the bangles at Pure Poison called Pety Bracelets.  Lots of different designs make up the set as you'll see below.

Look at my lovely avatar enhancement nails from Orc. Inc.  I love how Ms Orcsy gives us the most vivid colors and textures.  This one is from the Split Glitter fat pack and they just pop.  Thanks so much Nicole for sending them.  I can't wait to work my through the colors and patterns you've created.  Now I've been coveting these bags from Gos for a few weeks and knew it would be perfect for this outfit.  Actually I'm going back to work my through all the colors.  They sit on your arm so precisely even when you walk and that's something I appreciate in a bag.

Now I think I need to arrange a self exclusion policy from Slink darlings.  I'm in LOVE with Siddeon's add on shoes compatible with her mesh medium rigged and avatar enhancement feet.  These are called 'Glitter Peeptoes' in white but you can change the bow to contrast with the shoes.

Oh and this is my new hair from Analog Dog called 'Apple Moustache' in Platinum.  I love this style to bits. The hair flower is from ASO.

From A Distance Someone Is Watching All Of Us.

Well today just cemented for me that you're never too old to learn a life lesson.  I won't open Pandora's Box again, but on a certain blog that caters to and critiques modeling agencies, I went head to head with a certain person who I believed to be, well let's just say, wrong.  I was reminded, ever so respectfully by the moderator, to basically stop banging my head against the same old brick wall.  And you know what, they're absolutely right.  There are people who use SL for devious means and create havoc wherever they go.  Its their agenda and intent to do that and nothing I can say will change their mission to do damage.  Its funny how we sometimes get ourselves into situations that become unhealthy and fruitless but we march on regardless.  Today I learned to leave those type of people to stew in their own juices for in the end, they ain't worth the gas (or electricity if that's your mode of cooking).

Here I am pounding on my keyboard preparing another post highlighting what is GOOD about SL.  The fashion!

This citrus toned dress is a killer.  It was an impulse buy from Pink Outfitters.  Actually if the truth be known, all my shopping is on impulse.   Designer, London Dailey, has done a superb job with this halter neck, backless dress with a black waist band.  it's stunning on and the colors are yummy enough to eat.  Lucky for me I stumbled across the most complimentary earrings called 'Lola Leaves' from Cherry.   I was finding it a tad difficult to find the right shoes to match so opted for a pair of 'Grace' heels in patent black leather from Gos and a giant carry all called 'Valentine Bow Tote' also from Cherry.  Really any excuse for another pair of Gos heels and I'm there.  They are sublime.

I just adore the back of this dress.  It's different from what I usually see around.  I admit that I swooned over a hair style shown on Bierno and Deeta's wonderful blog from Analog Dog so there was another excuse to go check out some new releases.  I thought this one called 'EQ' would be perfect as it would allow the dress to be the star.  I'm sorry for my bank balance because once there, I WENT FLIPPIN MAD.

I'm wearing my new Betty skin from Belleza (doh I brought the fat pack) and popped on the skin appliers for my Slink hands.  I have it on good authority that Belleza skin appliers for the feet are currently being worked on...YAY.  I am in love with this skin.  It has a sophisticated look to it and the eye shading, there's something so perfect about it.

I popped on these Je Suis Vintage Bangles (not sure if they're still available so if you want them, check with Julia Merosi from Je Suis.  The rings are called Pompeii in Circus color from Bliensen and MaiTai.  The earrings and rings from this set are so versatile because you get 5 different tones in the pack.

I have to say it because I'll feel better.  But if anyone from LL was standing in front of Chalice right now she'd kick them square in the knackers.  It is taking FOREVER to bring up LM's and it happens all the time.  Be warned.....protect the knackers if you see me approaching. 

Did You Know I'm A Twin?

Chalice and her evil twin, Malice, donned wonderful gowns from Sascha's Designs for an evening of dancing and flirting.  The Damatjo dress garnered lots of praise from admirers but the angelic Chalice, wearing Tan, won the battle when she went home with the catch of the day.

It wasn't all bad news though.  Malice bunkered down at home with a gluten free pizza, bottle of shiraz and an episode of her favorite show, House of Cards.

Sascha's beautiful gown is available in black, magenta, pink, purple, red, royal blue, seafoam, tan and white with a huge variety of combinations that includes a stunner of a hat.

Can You Blow My Whistle Baby?

Howdy lovely people.  I've just returned home from a lovely dinner of chicken parmigiana and fine shiraz so am feeling full and mellow.  I'm showing an eye catching jacket called 'Chain Link Varsity' from HighRize, a store I discovered when visiting fi*Day at the Captivated sim. Reminiscent of the Chanel chain jacket don't you think?  Fits beautifully and comes in a variety of sizes.

I'm loving these Wrecker Boots from SYL which I paired with Maitreya's Anklets.  I've fallen badly for this hair called 'Tangent' from Analog Dog.
