Hair Today...Gone Tomorrow. Chalice Sacks The Stylist.

God that Chalice can be a bitch. Just because her hairdresser didn't conceive the amazing Rykiel style from the hair house of LeLutka first, she sacked him, withdrawing her custom after many years of monogamy to diva stylist Dree McTavish. He's said to be utterly devastated and has allegedly waxed his entire body in protest.

She isn't worried though. She's been showing it off to absolutely everyone. She may not have worn it first, but she believes she's worn it best. Chalice is such a bitch.

Anyway she did want to share this outfit with you, particularly the flower emblazoned shoes from DeLa. The corky wedges with patent leather and a choice of flower colors are just the sweetest and look a treat with the Leather Prom Dress that is a FREEBIE from Bottle Bird.

Of course here's the hair that has caused the furor but you can see why. It's brilliant. Oh and look at the cute Keira neck ribbon from DeLa that can also be worn on the arms. Cool eh?

Now I was being rather lazy taking these pics at home but at the same time I did want to give you a little look of my new place. It's the AMAZING, WONDERFUL, STUNNING new house from Fornicola Butuzova's PreFabulous brand called Lanai Beach House. It's not overly huge which I like. A quality build with out of this world textures that is cozy and not prim heavy.

Anyway darlings, check out the style card and if you see the hairless hairdresser Dree McTavish around, give him a tissue will you because he's such a cry baby.

She eats, ROOTS and leaves. New LeLutka Hair.

Personally wanted to send a big thumbs up to LeLutka's new ROOTS hair line. Love it to pieces ladies and I can't help but sit back and contemplate how far SL has come in terms of hair creation. When I think about the first lot of hair I purchased in 2007, the comparison is amazing. I'd been AWOL for a bit and Vixie Rayna urged me to go have a look at the new roots hair as quick as I could. I'm so glad I did because I just love the subtlety on the crown.  This is just one of a few styles available.

Bouquet for LeLutka.

More Lionskin Fabulosity. A Face For Every Occasion.

The news on the grape vine is that Lion Jonesford has gone completely mad and can't stop creating new make up layers and out of this world lashes. Allegedly she is sitting in her skin studio furiously creating saying 'I have to give them more. More. MORE'. Seriously folks...she needs an intervention. When you stop by to check out these fabulous, vibrant make ups and eye lashes, slap some sense into her and make her go to bed.

Click the pics for a more detailed look at these wonderful face make ups and decadent eye lashes. These are only a teaser of what is available. With a banquet of colors and choice of cute teeth peeping out or wet look lipstick, these tattoo add ons work perfectly with Lion's Lea skin or in fact, any skin you have in your inventory. The huge range of prim lashes are stunners and will give you a unique edge to your look.

This girl never stops giving us gorgeous. My hair is from LoQ called Hot Chocolate and designed by Gia Pawpad. Love it Gia.

I have neglected my darling blog for a couple of weeks due to a busy work schedule but hopefully can get in some more posts in the next few weeks.

Baiastice New Release - Hair Attachments To Die For.

Chalice In Wonderland

This post is NOT about the fabulous Pois Satin dress from Baiastice currently available for a song at The Dressing Room Blue. No sir...people have already blogged that. This is about Sissy's new line of hair attachments recently released. I have just allowed Sissy to travel first class to the Maldives with the L's I just spent in her store. Well first class by Linden Airways to the next sim maybe. I couldn't count the number of styles she has produced but each attachment is available with 12 hair shades included for sale at a measly $150L.

I have only presented one style, the Lucrezia, because I want you all to TP to the Baiastice Beauty Department and demo till you drop.

Of course being an attachment, you'll need a quality hair base or hair tattoo but I'm sure nearly everyone has these. The hair attachment phenomena has become my absolute favorite SL invention of late and I simply can't get enough of them.

Chalice In Wonderland

I was so excited to post, I didn't even bother about finding a location. I just took these on my pool deck. Yay for Sissy.

Get Ready For Hair Fair 2010 and Bandana Day In September

There's one day in September you'll want to remember - that's Bandana Day on the 19th which occurs during the 16 day Hair Fair kicking off on the 4th. This is the 5th Annual Hair Fair and has been a knockout success in the past. Bandana Day is a special event in the calendar where people are encouraged to whip off their hair and purchase bandana's specifically decorated by all manner of designers. The proceeds benefit Wigs For Kids and will ONLY be sold by the Hair Fair Committee (HFC) so do ensure you only buy your bandana from official HFC vendors.

Hair Fair 2010

Ms Sasy Scarborough heads up the committee and certainly needs no introduction from me as you would all be aware of her wonderful blog, Sasy Pants. The official Hair Fair 2010 blog offers a wealth of information for all of us to not only find out what's happening with the fair but why this cause is so important and special.

Hair Fair 2010

I along with many other bloggers will be periodically covering the Hair Fair and I guess I would just like to remind everyone that while we are all entitled to have our say, do remember what is at the core of this event and appreciate that a lot of effort from some very kind people has gone into the organization.  Yes it's about getting new, fun hair but it also has a deeper purpose.

Hair Fair 2010

I re-textured the official bandana provided for this day and created by Damien Fate with my own message. As I type, many clever, artistic souls in SL are probably hard at work designing some kind of wonderful for you all to buy. I not being one of those people merely put together this design which is meant to be an eye with a message in the pupil.   In an artsy, fartsy sort of way I'm saying 'never take your eye off other people'.  There's always someone who needs you.

Look For Beauty And Ye Shall Find It

That's my thought for today. My darling dad used to say 'I don't find faults in people because I don't look for them'. He lived that way and his life was all the richer because of it. I unfortunately didn't inherit his beautiful disposition but I do try to think this way. It was easy for him but I do struggle...a lot. Regardless, it's a state of mind and you have to work at it if you choose to be that kind of person. While it would be utterly boring to live in a 'Stepford' world, the least we can do is allow each other the right to voice our opinions without ridicule, name-calling or labeling because it just makes people feel like crap. Something to aspire to perhaps? Don't get me wrong, I've taken cheap shots but my conscience slaps me in the head pretty hard and I always regret not taking the time to humanely say why I disagree.

Anyway, with that in mind I found a beautiful place to take some photo's...I went looking for beauty and I found it. It's a place called Regenboog at Kook. Amazing lighting and ambiance.

Today I'm wearing three new things. The amazing Allure shoes from Maitreya Gold in Brown, the new Siri hair also from Maitreya and a 10L outfit called Porto Cevo from Glam Affair.  I have to say that above all the shoe's in SL, Maitreya Gold's are my all time faves.  Salience, Espirit, Shanti, Allure and all the rest, there's nothing that comes between me and my Maitreya's...except perhaps a little tinea.  I so wanted the Allure with the socks but I thought I'd get more wear from these because I so love the Maitreya foot.

Click to read my affirmations.

Sit, look around you. Isn't it beautiful?

I'd be really happy to include a link to your blog in mine so please just send me a message with your URL. We should all support each other because really, WE are the feeds and perform a wonderful service to those residents who want the drum on who, what, when and where.

Chalice Hair - The TRUTH, The Whole TRUTH & Nothing But The TRUTH

OK this is going to be short because I'm too excited to concentrate for long.  The most beautiful surprise I could ever think of occurred tonight when I logged on.  The irrepressible Truth Hawks, hair dresser extraordinaire, sent me a message saying that a little birdie told him I would love a Truth hair style named after me.  This is very true.   You may recall me pleading shamelessly a couple of posts ago.  Well it happened.  He did it!  Truth sent me the Chalice hair shown below and if I'm lying,  may my boobs hit the floor and stay there, this is my favorite ever Truth style.  It's just................................................perfect.

I went over to the store and can't yet see it there but I'm hoping it will be in his usual Friday releases.  You just have to get it.  Darling Truth...you have seriously made this girls day, week, year.  Take the limo to Truth to buy your Chalice hair.  Please make me a sell out.

I don't think I've done this hair any justice with my pics because when you see it in the flesh, it's amazing.

Chalice In Wonderland: Schools Out 4 Evah

Came across this blazer tonight out shopping and it screamed naughty school girl.  Possibly because I went to a fancy dress party like this once in my old school blazer, shirt and tie...oh the memories.  Being loyal to my old school I did rip off the school emblem from the pocket so as not to bring the school into any more disrepute than I did when I was a student there.

Like a shark in a feeding frenzy, I scooped up everything in my path down at the Creator's Pavilion..  It's a brilliant place to be.

I enjoyed this photo shoot at an abandoned school in SL.  Perhaps it was St Trinians?

And she wore:

Nails: Color 1a from The Nail Station

Chalice In Wonderland - Lime + Tequila = Margarita.

Weekend fever = lots of fun.

I couldn't resist this one from the fashion house of Chantkare when I logged on and discovered the weekend fever special for $50L.  This was ever so symbolic as my favorite fruit is lime, I love tequila and that equates to my favorite cocktail...the Margarita. Chantkare designer Applonia Criss has created a stunning shop full of cutting edge outfits that ups the anti in SL couture.  Please note I am aware of the conflicting train of thought on the word couture BUT for me, it defines my idea of top of the line clothing construction in SL

As a color, lime is just so striking when used in clothing design and while it isn't everyone's bag, I happen to love it.  The outfit is aptly called Tequila so please lick your salt, sip your tequila, suck your lime and pop on your shades for this one.

What she wore:
Skin: Estelle Light in Make Up #10 by LeLutka
Hair: Mary in Black by Truth
Eyes: Expressive Eyes in Green #2 by Nany Merlin
Pants/jacket/corset: Tequila from Chantkare
Shoes:  Lime Green Flats by BiancaF
Anklets:  Black Anklets from Maitreya
Earrings: Modern Anch in Mint designed by Babyhoney Bailey
Hat:  Tori by Elegance Hats

/me crosses my fingers that no-one else has blogged this one.  Ha Ha.  See I'm getting paranoid.

Chalice In Wonderland: Good Golly Miss Molly It's Exile Hair

I hear ya, I hear ya.  The topic of us blogging multiple items at once has been raised and I do agree that it can get a bit much when new things come out and everyone rushes to profile it.  But on the other hand I do like to see the different interpretations of the same thing.  It's something that can't really be monitored and I'm about to break it anyway BECAUSE I really love this new style from Exile and I saw it blogged earlier.  I guess I just wanted to add my 2L's worth in saying  the Molly style is just so lovely.  It's feminine, girly and the curls and wispy bits are just perfect.

I admit I haven't been an Exile hair devotee, why I don't know, but that's now changed.  This hair is seriously well constructed and apart from lifting it a tad, needed no tweaking.  Created by Kavar Cleanslate, I wanted to say I've been looking for Molly all my SL.  Exile is found at Covet, a really lovely sim that has some great photography spots around it.   My head pics were taken on the boat out the front of the shop.
