Another post featuring items from Ladies Who Lunch, a brand I so adore. The shorts, the mini leather jacket and the shoes are fantastic designs from Faint Paulse who certainly has her finger on the pulse of what we love.
I want to particularly thank Truth Hair (Truth Hawks designer) for consistently furnishing us with brilliant, quality hair. Standing in his shop the other day, I looked around at row upon row of amazing styles and whenever I buy them, I'm never, ever disappointed. I swear he'd make a merkin look fabulous. Sorry, I just love that word and from the moment I knew what it was, always try to parlay that into a sentence.

The Power Is In The Flowers.
I put together a casual little number full of color with varying textures and patterns. Worn with a simple pair of thongs (ok you people up above...flip flops), it's a comfy, casual look you can wear if you don't mind being noticed.
I chose this bag because at the moment our house is full of beautiful flowers that have been sent to mum and are in nearly every room. It called the 'Summer Bag' by Boudoir. Very apt given we are heading into spring/summer down here.
The jeans are also from Boudoir called 'Printed Denim Jeans' and as I've always been partial to a bit of shabby chic, sit well with me.
The pics were taken at Dreams - Space Illusion 11.
Where did Chalice get it..........

BoHo HoBo Jean Jacket
How about this jean jacket from BoHo HoBo gals? Trill Zapatero sent it to me a little while ago and I finally got around to unpacking the box to find this awesome jacket that is perfect in every way. I wasn't feeling inclined to just wack on the obvious pair of jeans so did some hunting to seek out something playful.
I found these booty shorts at (K)Rea! and from the rear, they're very cheeky.
The details on the back of the jacket is nothing less than you what get with BoHo HoBo pieces...interesting, unexpected and quirky.
Anyway kiddies, I'm off for lunch with the girls and yes, that big machine next to me will be throbbing away between my thighs in a blink of an eye. Now I'm gonna shut up and drive :-)

Chalice Wears Elan.
A long standing model friend of mine, Temperance Moonites, Manager and PR at Elan Fashion kindly sent me a couple of fab outfits to blog. Alatiel Malies Wylie is the owner/designer of Elan Fashion and I must say I love these two outfits from the label.
The first shown is called Feline comprised of the skirt, jacket and beaded corset top. Always a nice surprise, it needed no tweaking from me and fit perfectly.
A great match with my new Nardcotix Edna Platform Pumps in brown kindly sent by the amazing Ms Nardya Rousselot...thank you sweet Nardya. Chal is in love with these.
Truth's new hair release Isla With Roots and hair base is scrum-a-licious and I'm thrilled to see Mr H using hair bases of such fine quality. Yay for us.
I also found this gorgeous snakeskin clutch at Indyra Originals after scouring the grid for the right bag. The earrings and necklace called Perola I found at Kunglers and just had to have them. They are the most amazing collection of colored beads I've seen in SL.
Now the second outfit from Elan Fashion is the Teal Chic Tank and USA Shorts, a fun, casual ensemble (me fave word) perfect for summer - sorry kids but summer's coming in my neck of the woods.
Look at that glorious teal. I again wore some Nardcotix magic in the recently released Sharna Pumps with color change options.
Thank you to Tempy for sending these outfits and to Alatiel for making them. You simply must drop by Elan Fashion and check out both levels where you'll find absolutely great fashion for a great price.

Chalice On A Hot Tin Roof.

One of the most enjoyable things about Chalice's extensive, obscene fashion collection is the freedom to plonk in front of the wardrobe (inventory) trying to create a look brought together from many different designers. The hardest thing about Chalice's extensive, obscene fashion collection is knowing where to look. A skirt from here, a ruffle from there, a hat from god knows where all come together to create an outfit no-one else will be wearing. I love that.
Today I started with the earrings/necklace set I purchased the other day. Facing my clown-a-phobia, I snapped this up because clowns scare the bejeebers out of me and I thought exposure therapy might help. The outfit grew from there and I must say, you could pair this Stitch By Stitch skirt with a hessian sack and you'd still rock the runway.

I took to the roof at the Prefabrica sim for these pics because the view was stunning. I'm sure you'll find lots of photo ops there so do visit to appreciate the amazing work that's gone into it.

I also wanted to wear the new Kalnins Dante heels that had recently been sent by master cobbler Maris Kanto. Again Maris, these are sensational and so, so easy to drive.

Homage to the designers:
Skin: Elle in Make Up 7 in Pale by Belleza.
Hair: Bethany in Swedish by Truth.
Nails: Red by J's.
Eyes: Big Grey Expressive Eyes by Nany Merlin.
Top inc. Shoulder Cuffs and Glitch Pants: From Jenica outfit by Ivalde (Ghost Hunt Gift).
Shirt Ruffle: Taken from Violet Night Lace Over-shirt from Stitch By Stitch.
Skirt: Violet Night Wrap skirt from Stitch By Stitch.
Shoes: Dante Heels from Kalnins.
Earrings/Necklace: Mad Clown by Glow Studio.
Parasol: Created by Seagel Neville.

I'm Not Dead I'm Just Sad And Needed To Chill
I'm not one for divulging much about RL in SL because in a way, I consider this my sanctuary from my day-to-day existence. A wonderful existence I might add but one that is crazy busy and sometimes too hectic even for me. I haven't posted in a few days and thought I'd just check in to say that I've just taken a bit of time to digest my sad news...sad to me anyway. My doggie's got cancer and only has between two to six months before it takes her. To be honest, she really isn't my doggie, she's my baby, my best friend, my joy. Unfortunately it has progressed to the stage that it is essentially untreatable and while every part of me wants to try everything, my love for her is too great to let her suffer unnecessarily. I've chosen to give her quality of life rather than quantity. She's nearing 13 so while I hoped she would live into her late teens, age is against her.
I absolutely want to make these last months as peaceful, comfortable and loving as I possibly can but I know after I make the decision that enough is enough, I'll be heart broken.
So if you could send positive affirmations to my darling one, I'd be so grateful. I now have to shake off the sadness and just enjoy the moments.
Here I am in my favorite bed from Dutchie. I really love this bed Froukje and the creases in the cover are such a wonderful touch.
Anyway lovely people, take care and I'll be back to share some of my favorite things soon. I had a Truth shop-a-thon the other day buying some of the styles around the sides and back of the store. OMG he has some brilliant hair apart from his new releases that I hadn't seen before. This shaggy style is called Valena in Swedish.
My wish for the week in SL.....WEAR MORE HATS.

Day Of The Jacket
I nominate this to be Day Of The Jacket because Sascha Frangilli's Romana jackets in black or silver are so delightfully wonderful, they deserve 24 hours of glory. First of all, they are skillfully constructed with all pieces strategically placed to allow movement without gaps. Secondly, they are REALLY smart and so chock full of exquisite detail they require very little accessorizing to achieve a slick look. One thing that Sascha's Designs is never short of is options in each folder. These jackets come with pants, shirts, jacket alternatives so you can mix n match to extend the life span of each purchase.
You can't help but notice that Sascha possesses a definite mastery with her textures and shading...I mean just look as the luster of the silver jacket.
I am in total love with Romana black and silver...beautiful work Sascha.

Chalice In Wonderland: Truth Rocks...Would I Lie To You?
I'm in a hurry but my love of Truth's newest hair ensured that I battled SL's insistence on logging me out this evening to bring you Leona and Mena. These are two of Mr Hawk's three new styles hot out the salon and I'm in loooove.
How does he know what we want? He's simply a genius and get's the Golden Scissors Award for Excellence in Hairmanship.
Here's Mena.
And here's Leona.
This man is sending me broke. I'll be eating garbage off the streets but at least I'll look a million bucks.

Chalice Hair - The TRUTH, The Whole TRUTH & Nothing But The TRUTH
OK this is going to be short because I'm too excited to concentrate for long. The most beautiful surprise I could ever think of occurred tonight when I logged on. The irrepressible Truth Hawks, hair dresser extraordinaire, sent me a message saying that a little birdie told him I would love a Truth hair style named after me. This is very true. You may recall me pleading shamelessly a couple of posts ago. Well it happened. He did it! Truth sent me the Chalice hair shown below and if I'm lying, may my boobs hit the floor and stay there, this is my favorite ever Truth style. It's just................................................perfect.
I went over to the store and can't yet see it there but I'm hoping it will be in his usual Friday releases. You just have to get it. Darling Truth...you have seriously made this girls day, week, year. Take the limo to Truth to buy your Chalice hair. Please make me a sell out.

I don't think I've done this hair any justice with my pics because when you see it in the flesh, it's amazing.
