Adorable Mesh Skirt From Behold Designs.

Drum roll please...this is the first piece of mesh clothing I've ever worn.  Talk about late on the uptake but better late than never I suppose.  What prompted me to finally go to the mesh side and download V3 was reading EnCore Mayne's blog (here) sharing her new creation, the polka dot mesh skirt.  I just loved the pattern and shape of it and immediately TP'd to her store, Behold Designs, to get me one.

Never underestimate the power of a little skirt on those around you.  This is ever so sexy and I love the asymmetrical aspect of it that cleverly uses the polka dots to create added dimension.  This skirt is not rigged so can be modified as opposed to modifying your shape for the rigged mesh clothing pieces.  This gives you carte blanche to tint your skirt.  EnCore indicates she will be selling this for $300L but when I purchased it, it was a mere $150L.

I set about building up a look from the skirt and visited Le Poppycock where I purchased a top called  Le Tanque.  I then had a bit of fun at Tee*fy shopping for accessories and found Anya's Pico Mofumofu scarf with dangling embellishments at either end and My Lunch Bag shown here in blue and brown hues.

I opted for my favorite Arch Boots in 2 tone nude kindly sent to me by Fashionboi Lander from the House of Fox..  Also shown: Hair - Starlight in Essence from Vanity Hair; Skin - Claudia 2 Milky Glow from LAQ; Eyes - Pale Steel Blue from Fashism; Watch - Cashmere; Earrings - Antonia from DeLa; Nails - Pixel Mode

Thank you for throwing me from the comfort of my V2 nest and into the V3 unknown EnCore. I so wanted that skirt and I'm so glad I took the plunge.  I love this viewer and it actually works better for me.  Great job darling.

Smart Cabinet from Behold Designs

The minute I saw this cabinet designed by EnCore Mayne from Behold Designs I fell in love with it.

The detail is wonderful and the scripted smoked glass doors are something else. EnCore generously sent me the cabinet and I couldn't unpack it quickly enough. If you are looking for a quality yet functional piece of furniture for your home, look no further. You can purchase it from EnCore's Marketplace store here. For the incredibly low price of $211L which equates to around $1.20 US, it's a phenomenal price when one considers the skill and time involved in producing this.

Thanks darling. Looking forward to your next masterpiece.

Jewelery With Edge From Behold Designs.

Chalice in Wonderland Blog
Nail Cross earrings and Rubik's Cube bracelet from Behold Designs steps away from the norm.

A few posts ago I promised I would show you this cool bracelet designed by EnCore Mayne from Behold Designs. It was fortuitous that when I was about to style my look for this shoot, EnCore sent out these fabulous Nail Cross earrings and I thought it was a great opportunity to show both pieces. How she did this bracelet I'll never know but I just love the fact that she doesn't follow tradition and reinvigorates an item that took the world by storm years ago.

The Nail Cross earrings are another variation on a theme and I love the delicate red stone at it's center and the fact they are made to look like horse shoe nails.

To compliment EnCore's unusual pieces, I opted for something avant-garde and I knew exactly where to go. BiancaF has been a favorite designer of mine for a million years and I popped over to see what treasures she had dreamed up. I spied an outfit called Body Structure and wore only the prim pieces of the exterior dress to keep color out of the equation so that the Rubik's Cube bracelet had center stage.

To avoid hair taking over the look, I wore a knitted turban from Ce Cubic Effect and poked in some flexi feathers created by SL resident Vanilla Sola.

I had so much fun discovering NOMOS2, a residential role play sim that is just so well built with amazing views everywhere you turn. It felt like I was in the movie Blade Runner.

Thank you EnCore for the earrings love. I'm still working on solving the Rubik's Cube. I might have it by next year.

Impossible Cross Earrings from BEHOLD Designs. EnCore Made Them Possible.

One of my 12 special women I chose to send the '12 Women' note card to that is currently doing the rounds, EnCore Mayne has been designing things in SL for quite some time. From pogo sticks to jewelery and everything in between, I am constantly amazed at her knowledge and love her uniqueness. She displays her creations at BEHOLD Designs in Choerom or purchase from Xstreetsl.

EnCore sent me these unreal earrings called Impossible Cross. I was thrilled and the second I put them on and cammed in, I knew these were something very, very special. Delicate, simple and restrained, I could see immediately how technically skilled the design of these earrings is. I have a feeling, like in many of her pieces, some blood, sweat and tears may have been spilled in bringing them to fruition. I'm waiting for the right outfit to showcase one of her costume jewelery pieces that I know must have been a mare to make.

Look. Just look at that. One cross magically suspended in front of the other. I just love them EnCore and these will become my everyday earrings that Cha wears knowing that they were created with such care and attention.

In my hurry to share these, I'm not sure if EnCore has them up yet but do have a visit to BEHOLD Designs. She does awesome poses too. I'm not sure how busy EnCore is but she would be the one to go to if you wanted to commission some special, bespoke poses. Thank you sweetie for these and for being one of my 12 important women in SL.
