Orient Express-ion in Mu-dan by Lurani.

Don't hide in the shadows. Come out into the light wearing a new release dress from Lurani called Mu-dan. Created in three amazing colors, black, red and white, Mu-dan is everything mysterious and inspiring that you expect from a design that encapsulates the wonders of Asia.

The dress interplays with the light and is reminiscent of raw heavy silk with fine piping along the bodice and straps. The dramatic Asian bustle adornment is simply stunning and gives the dress a life force of it's own.

I wanted to show the white and red dress too but I'm under the pump with things to blog so you will all have to visit Lurani to decide which color is for you. The dress comes with a shirt, undershirt, pants, skirt, skirt prims, sculpted collar and the belt with 3 versions.

It's lovely to add an injection of mystique into your formal wear and this dress certainly does that.

Chalice thanks:
Lurani for the dress.
LoQ for the hair attachment and base.
Mayden Couture for the skin (Michelle).
SLink for the shoes.
je suis for the nails.

New Pixie Gown by Sascha's Designs

Chalice In Wonderland Blog

No wonder I love sasCHA's Designs. Ms Sascha Frangilli must be a fan of mine to have put Cha in the name of her store. Seriously though, Sascha's Designs is a sure bet in the world of fashion. You just know that whatever you purchase, it's quality, it's honest and it's stunning.

This is one of Sascha's new releases called Pixie and I chose to show it in glorious purple. I don't wear purple often enough and the richness of this skirt texture comes alive in this shade. With three skirt options, the Battleship, the Big Sucker and the Grande, you can choose your wow rating.

I chose a huge WOW wearing the Battleship and Big Sucker skirts at once. The effect is amazing.

The movement in the skirt is something else and I made sure that I clicked when the skirt was in flight.

Just look at the luster on that skirt eh? The bodice is equally stunning with teeny tiny spaghetti straps that will never fail you. No one ever has a nipp slip in SL, unless they want to of course.

Do pop over to Sascha's for a look at her new items. This dress is a treat and I can't wait for the next ball to wear it. Who am I kidding? I don't need an occasion to wear a gorgeous dress like this. I just washed the dishes in it and now I'm gonna mop the floor.

She wore:

Skin: Michelle 5 by Mayden Couture
Hair: Witch in Powder by Lamb
Dress: Pixie in Purple by Sascha's Designs
Necklace and Earrings: Aparan't Set in Amethyst by Lurani (contact Gisele Mubble because I couldn't find the LM - sorry)

SOON TO BE RELEASED - Michelle Skin from Mayden Couture

I love to get the drum on new releases and last night I got just that. Ms Maika Koray, the designer behind Mayden Couture, sent me a review copy of the about to be released Michelle Skin. In the folder were two skin tones, one dark and one lighter. Unfortunately I haven't been able to contact Maika to confirm the names of the two tone's; however, I opted to show the lighter skin. I also don't have a date of release for this skin but if I can catch up with Maika I'll pass it on.

As I always do when I review something, I visited Mayden Couture to get a feel for the product and to cast my eye over the existing skin range. Mayden Couture was an impressive enterprise. The skins are beautifully presented in vendor posters and the clothing, shoe, eye, nail, hair range available ensures there is something for everyone. Definitely a one-stop-shop for fashion lovers.

Without further ado, let me introduce Michelle.

I think the face make up is just gorgeous and I'm particularly enamored by the lips and chiseled nose.

I love the shading on the tummy. Quite different in my opinion as the rib cage is prominent and gives the impression of a model think physique.

I am definitely going to be wearing this skin a LOT. It's very easy on the eye and I think it just pops out at you. I love the hip bones also although I haven't captured them in these shots. As always my advice is to take a trip to Mayden Couture and demo, demo, demo. I would like to congratulate Maika on a fabulous skin that was an absolute pleasure to present.

The stunning swimsuit I'm wearing is from Elymode, hair piece is from Vanity Hair, shoes from Maitreya Gold and the black hair base is from Tiny Bird.

I dunno.
