Lemongrass Class.

I need an inventory clean out like never before and while contemplating this task, I fished around halfheartedly subconsciously looking for an excuse not to do it. I stumbled upon this dress from Stitch by Stitch in the color of lemongrass that I purchased a while ago and forgot about. I adore the color and as usual, the quality and fit were spot on.

Please bear with me while I fluff around finding outfits I had planned to blog but with Christmas/New Year sapping my inspiration, I need to remove my finger and just do it.

Diabla by Lynx...The Shoe That Keeps On Giving

I'M BACK. Happy Christmas, Happy New Year and Happy SLife. It's been ages since we chatted and I've had the most wonderful Christmas ever. Santa's sack was full, we ate and drank like there was no tomorrow and we got a new puppy. He's just to die for and I'm so happy and grateful I get to spend my life with him. Isn't he just adorable?

Now on to my post....

The amazing Anya Bombastic from Linx shoe fame dropped these amazing pair on me called Diabla. I'm sure she thought I would never get around to blogging them; however, I have been trying to get them up on the site for ages. I love Linx shoes and the HUD Anya uses is oh so easy to operate. These Diabla shoes come in seven color changes in the HUD in addition to other options to play with such as heel colors and metal hardware changes. Stunning foot and toes with some gorgeous nail colors to choose from. LOVE THEM Anya.

Orange Krush With A Dose Of Flu

Pass me the tissues and rub my chest with vapor rub (insert brand name common to your country), I'm sick. Too sick to go to work and not wishing to share my germs with everyone, I stayed in bed and woke at 12pm.

Anyway (sniff, sniff) I thought I'd get up for a bit and post these pics I took yesterday. I picked this little orange treasure up from the Glam Affair 10L sale. I thought this would make me stand out on the dance floor and partial to anything orange, I snapped it up. The beautiful Shyayn Lusch, Miss "Shag" herself and the creator of The Digital Doll blog, sent me copies of her new Stoned Love Crystal Jewelery Sets. Absolutely brilliant they are. Not only is there a color to match every outfit, the pieces fit like a glove. There's a choice of big and giant earrings and necklace with matching ring. If you haven't been to her shop Shag, you absolutely must. You haven't decorated until you do.

To me, this outfit has a certain kitschy appeal that I'm rather partial to and if I was a roller derby babe, this is the outfit I'd wear.  My performance name would be "The Orange Krush".

Chalice In Wonderland: Always The Bride, Never The Bridesmaid Blogger Challenge

I guess one of the commonalities we all share as bloggers is our creativity with fashion working within the limitations of our environment.  There are so many wonderful blogs enlightening residents on cheap or freebie items that there's no excuse for drabness in our world.  This got me thinking about setting a challenge to see how many amazing and diverse looks we could put together sharing the one brief.

My challenge if you choose to accept it, is to create two bridal looks only using what is in your inventory.  If you happen to have a wedding dress in there, don't use it because that defeats the purpose.  This is about being creative, reflecting your personal style in what would be considered a very important day in your life.  Because flowers are such an important part of any wedding regardless of style and the fact that you might not have any floating around, you can purchase flowers only to accessorise with your wedding look if you'd like.

So get sifting through your stuff and come up with your own bridal looks for a BEACH THEMED WEDDING and a CHURCH THEMED WEDDING.  I had so much fun doing this because it really was a challenge trying to find outfits that would fit the bill especially when I didn't think I had anything remotely resembling a wedding gown.  We don't have to be white meringue's and I bet you come up with some amazingly creative looks because you aren't just looking at one total dress.

Here's my attempts.  I'd be really interested to see what other people come up with.  You know how people love to see a bride...whether they're admiring or laughing at her :-)  Just pretend that the person of your dreams said "marry me right now".  Could you put together your dream outfit with what's in your wardrobe???????  GO ON.
