Who Loves You Babe?

I've made two cups of tea while shooting and preparing this post and both of them have gone cold.  Third time lucky.  First of all I want to say that Melany Seerose won the $1000L in Cha's Flash Fash Cash Comp and she has been paid.  Congrats on identifying yourself Melany and I hope you have fun spending it.  Another one is coming soon.  I've been out and about shooting random people so just need a few more to start.

Today I'm featuring this gorgeous dress from Molichino.  Its called 'Haley' and comes with a color change belt.  I've been waiting to find something to wear with the 'Flower Bag' made by Raining Creations that I purchased at the Love Donna Flora event.  I'm sorry I can't provide you with an LM for this shop because one wasn't provided in the folder but it is made my Lenka Canvas who doesn't have anything in her profile. Its a great fun bag however, so perhaps if you want one just IM her.

I love the color of this dress and was lucky to find boots to match at Gos.  The necklace is from Miel and you can use the hud to add your name to it like I have.

I went to The Arcade earlier and was so unlucky on two gacha machines.  I received the same item 5 times in a row on one of them and for the life of me couldn't get the right hair color I wanted on the other.  I said to myself 'only one more try' and I finally got it.  Don't they just suck you in?  They do me.  I think the event is great but the machines and pics are just so small I get frustrated trying to cam in to see whats on offer.

Chalice Loves Alice

Top of the mornin' to ya.  I've not long woken up for a beautiful autumn morning and the birds are chirping like mad.  To match my happy mood, I'm showing a sweet skirt, tank and belt set from my new found favorite store, Alice Blue.

This outfit is called 'Unicorn' shown in Green.  It's ever so pretty and I love the shape of the skirt (shown in the medium size) which maintains its integrity while moving and walking.

The shoes and hat are from Mon Tissu, one of my favorite labels in SL.

I'm wearing the SLINK hands with the Tuli Skin Applier.  A brilliant system but I can't seem to get the skin applier to work on my feet for some reason.  I'm sure you all are smarter than me and have had no trouble but moi, I annoy myself when I'm the only one who struggles with instructions.  OK, back to sorting it out but seriously folks, these hand and feet are awesome.

For the love of god, designers please, please, please put your updated store's LM in your profile picks....please.

I Let My Fur And Feathers Fly in Paris Metro.

When I think grand, decadent fashion in SL, Paris Metro immediately comes to mind and one walk around the cavernous shop is testament to this.  Here I'm wearing a stunning gown called 'Take Flight Red and Black Bird' that sells for $1500L but worth every cent if its impact you're after.

The vision of red and black birds can be seen in the overlay material and is replicated in the full length gloves that formalize the look for that special event.  RFB Morpork is a visionary creating big gowns to sweep all who gaze upon them off their feet.

I'm wearing K.I.A. shoes in Ruby from LeLutka that sell for $875L.  I'm very partial to these.

Now you might be forgiven for thinking this is merely dark hair.  It's far more quirky than hair, it is the 'Jandora Fur Hat' from Bliss Couture ($198L) worn with the 'Little Black Pillbox Hat' from Eclectica ($350L) that I re-colored in red tones.

Hope you like my interpretation of the 'Take Flight Red and Black Bird' dress.

Other Stuff:
Skin: Fashion Monster Skin from Modern Gypsy (gifty skin).
Eyeliner: Tattoo Red Eyeshadow from Little Petites Details (free).
Eyeshadow: From Little Petites Details (free).
Eyes: Sunshine in Pale Steel Blue from Fashism ($150L)
Bag: From Muism (can't find it anymore)
Necklace: Timeless Knotted Necklace from Encore (store closed).
Location: Venexia.

There's Power In The Flower.

You know you're wardrobe is in a bad way when you can't find the new coat you recently purchased.  I've been searching high and low for my new acquisition from Peqe, a stunning floral coat called 'Pacific'  I just assumed it hadn't arrived when there it was...voila.

Styling this look was lots of fun if not a bit of a challenge.  I wanted to create a romantic and feminine look with an old world feel.  Coats/jacket's can be tricky little things but Peqe has nailed it with a great drape to the coat that gives the impression of flowing material and the puffy prim sleeves match really well with the pattern of the jacket layer.

I racked my brain thinking about what I would wear under the coat and recalled this outfit I purchased so long ago from Redgrave called Nude Body Suit.  God knows if it's still available but I loved it for the delicate diamante detail at the hem of the shorts, shirt bottom and neckline.

I've been holding onto this Christiana headpiece from Donna Flora for a while now eager to wear it with something that would do it justice.  I love this hat to smithereens.  I raided the jewel box big time for this look and draped myself in the Chicago Diamante selection (earrings, necklace and bracelet) from Eclectica.Jewelery.  If you want quality, go Eclectica shopping.  I also brought out my big gun Trinity Ring from Modern Gypsy that is akin to a bling-ified knuckle duster.  Yay for you Micah.

To finish off my floral Lolita look, I snapped up this hat box called 'Faded Fragrance' from Le Poppycock.  Loving that shine and luster on the bag...Amazing work Julliette Bade.  Your shop is fabulous.

Casually Cute.

As I put this post together, I'm enjoying a glass (or two) of 2007 Shiraz from Wyndham Estate in New South Wales.  Gorgeous drop and those first waves of chillaxation are enveloping me like a mohair rug on a cold night.  Please excuse any typo's but blame the wine makers at Wyndham for it.

I've put together a cute casual today built around the terrific little jeweled cashmere jumper from Fishy Strawberry in the most delightful shade of blue.

I hit the grid running in my quest to accessorize.  Well as fast as my new Barletta heels from Similar Footwear would allow because these are seriously high  Totally gorgeous shoes and I'm falling more in love with this label with every pair I buy.

I found these denim shorts at Gizza Creations and paired them with the Fishy Strawberry lace cycling pants that I purchased recently.  I stopped by Modern Gypsy for a look at their bag collection and snaffled this Pop Culture bag with the sparkling image of Annie Lennox. There's a great selection of bags so if you're want something different, Modern Gypsy is a must see.

I'm also loving the recent Truth hair releases and Marielle is no exception.  I revisited my LeLutka stock of skins and opted for the Lola range in pale worn with the metallic blue lip tattoo and the huge Lola lashes that accompany the skin.  To top off I'm wearing my Pixel Mode prim nails and Steel Envelope necklace from Piddle.  Click the shop names for links.

While in Oz we don't celebrate Halloween in a big way, I did remember to buy some chocolates for any ghosts, ghouls or goblin's that may grace my door step on Monday evening. Only thing is, can I keep my husband away from the lolly jar until then?  Gotta go...I hear rattling in the kitchen.

Invest in Boho Hobo.

Click the pics for more detail.

If you've ever read my blog before, you'll know that I am a huge fan of Trill Zapatero's label, BoHo HoBo. And you will also know that the proceeds from her shop goes to the Revolutionary Association Of The Women Of Afghanistan (RAWA) to fund education, healthcare and orphanages.

Well Trill sent me one of her new releases. A groove-a-licious suede fringey vest in passion purple. Its so fabulous and with an easy resizing script, it will fit all body shapes. The fringe swishes and sways with every step and makes me want to get down and dancey with Austin Powers.

Looks great just with Chal's flat chest and some bling. There was a wee nip slip but nothing too drastic.

I'm wearing Chantkare's khaki poofy shorts that I fell in love with and will be wearing lots. Couldn't go past the Chantkare hair flower either as it matched the vest so well.

I have a huge selection of shades and forgot I had these diva'ish looking specs called J-Logic from JE Republic. Note to self, wear more glasses.

Anyway lovelies. Just had to share this wonderful creation from BoHo HoBo and encourage you all to go look at Trill's store. Not only is she a huge creative talent, her heart is even bigger because she does this for a wonderful cause.

Emergency Aid (UNICEF) Project - Help Dutchie Help Pakistan

Showing once again that SL is full of altruistic residents, Truth Hawks from the famous Truth hair label has used his profile to bring attention to the Pakistan Flood Crisis Fund through UNICEF. A charity Truth holds in high esteem, he has brought together designers who have donated items housed on a sim Truth has provided. Additionally, Truth has encouraged designers to also sell from their main stores. Running from the 4th to the 19th of September, this is a wonderful way in which you can help. Do check out Project Donate for a list of participating designers. TP is here.

Chalice In Wonderland Blog

The lovely Froukje Hoorenbeek from Dutchie is selling this gorgeous cottage that usually retails for $700L at half price ($350L) with 100% of the profits going to UNICEF. Seriously guys, The Veluwe is an adorable little build and at only 46 prims, is perfect for those with limited allowance. The texturing and quality are what you would expect from a Dutchie build and with a veranda, open plan ground floor and cute attic room, is perfect for that cozy little lifestyle many of us desire.

This is a great opportunity to grab yourself a Dutchie for 350L and give hope to those people living a nightmare in Pakistan. Here...check it out.
