Watch Me Pull A Rabbit Out Of My Hat.

One thing I have noticed since my return to SL is the number of big, BIG boobs that people are opting for on their avi's.  Nothing wrong with boobs by the way, I've got two of them myself.  You can't swing a cat around here without hitting a pair of big banana shaped boobies and it got me wondering why so many bloggers are hopping on the boob wagon.  I really need to revisit my slider because Cha Cha has little pipsqueaks that barely register on the radar.  Good for you I say...lets get em out and wear them with pride.

Today I'm showing you a Graffitiwear dress that is available in the "We're All Mad Here" hunt called the "Alice and Rabbit dress".  Given I'm Chalice In Wonderland I thought it only fitting to pick this dress to blog and also, the designer at Graffitiwear is also named Chalice.  Head on to the Graffitiwear store for hunt details.

Thrown back into the single world, my safe little life is a thing of the past.  My thoughts turn to the uncertainty of meeting new people and the fact that you never really know anyone...even those we truly think we do.  While the relationship with me is the best relationship I've ever had, I can't help but wonder what lay ahead.  Will my heart be broken again?  I will have to wait and see...

She waits...

And waits...

Mondriaan Dress by Sascha's Designs

Gawd...two posts in one night.  I'm on a roll so will keep going.

Here's a great interpretation of Dutch painter, Piet Mondriaan's, grid based compositions of the 1920's.  I've always had a penchant for his work so couldn't let this dress go unblogged.  It comes with the black hat and also black leggings if you desire.

Great work Sascha. The shine and gentle creases are fab.  They come in a vast array of sizes so will suit any body shape.  Speaking of shapes, don't you go buying any of those ripped shapes on Marketplace that I notice are still for sale.  That would be very naughty.  After catching up with all that's gone on in the last few months, that waste of space needs to be GONE.

Skin, eyeliner and lips by LeLutka.
Hair base by Truth.
Earrings and bracelet by Eclectica (Gathered Hearts).
Ring by Zaara (Raga Oyster Paua).
Shoes by N-Core (Galaxy Shark X-treme Heels)
Dress by Sascha's Designs (Mondriaan-all available colors).

Fifty Shades Of Grey...Shut That Book And Listen.

Am I the only one in the universe who hasn't read these yet?  When I was in hospital not so long back, all the patients were swapping around the book parts it resembled a library.  Regardless, I've stolen the name for my post title thanks to Ms. E. L. James. I love this little number I pulled together predominately from one of my favorite stores, mon tissu.

When I purchased the pleated skirt, gathered frill blouse and superb wool blend jacket, I wasn't sure how they would look together but  need not have worried because mon tissu just gets it RIGHT.  I mean look at the assembly of the woolen jacket with the pinched waist, over sized belt and perfect folds resting on the hips.  The cute shoes are also from mon tissu called Cottage Flats.

Look at that lovely shirt frill and flower decoration on the lapel called French Pouf.  What I loved most however, was the Traveler Bag also from mon tissu that has the most amazing detail  on it.   It's just so RIGHT.  Designer Elle Spot has certainly mastered quality fashion and perfectly engineered clothing pieces and I swear you have to go if you haven't already, although I can't imagine anyone who hasn't had the pleasure..

And I'd like to introduce my parrot called "Youidiot".  He does have a bit of trouble locating his stand and here he's contemplating a dip in the pool.  This is my new home called Modern One from Pre-Fabulous.  Just another in my massive home collection.  I love it guys and can't wait to see more in the future.

Hair:  Inverted in Marilyn tone by LeLutka
Skin:  Linn in Light tone by Glam Affair
Nails: Prim nails from Pixel Mode
Jacket: Wool Blend Jacket in Grey from mon tissu
Skirt: Highland skirt in Grey from mon tissu
Shirt: Gathered Frills Blouse in Grey from mon tissu
Shoes: Cottage Flats in Grey from mon tissu
Bag: Traveler Bag in Grey from mon tissu

Yes I'm wearing the same designer but I still combined separates to form a great, classic outfit but with a modern touch.

T--art From Boho Hobo.

These T's incorporate real life art from Trill Zapatero from Boho Hobo.  They are fabulous mesh and come in 3 sizes for the perfect fit.  Priced at a mere $85L's and even better, one of the T's will be on sale for $55L's.  How can you possibly go wrong with these striking pieces of art created in real life?  That makes them even more special.  Folds, creases and drapes are wonderful.

Take it from Auntie Cha.  These are a wardrobe stable.

Some Kind Of Bliss.

I remember when Amutey DeCuir was being interviewed on the Frolic Mills Show years ago and she struck me as a passionate, fun and charming person who certainly knew her stuff when it came to designing in SL.  Who hasn't graced the imposing entrance of Bliss Couture?  I for one recall racing over there straight after the show and fawned upon room after room of truly inspirational fashion and accessories.  My inventory once again needs to be spring cleaned because how could I have overlooked this fabulous dress I purchased a little while ago?  Styling inspiration came easy but color matching was a little more challenging.

Here I give you Bliss Couture's 'Sarahjane' dress in 'Sky'.  A delight to photograph and even more of a delight to wear.

Now this dress deserved something special to compliment the stunning depth of color and I thought the 'Miss Ocean' hat from BaObA would be just the thing.  Seriously if you haven't yet had the BaObA experience, go there now and marvel at the millinery of Petalos Clary.  I've always loved LoQ's 'Apple Pie' hair and didn't want to wear anything else for this outfit.  Fortunately for me it was modifiable.  I had it in my mind to shorten the length and used a transparent texture and edit linked in edit mode.  I love the way it came out.

Some 'Mermaid' earrings in 'Sky' from Label Mode was the only jewelery I felt necessary and added two lots of peacock tattoo shadow (see below) for extra intensity.  I wore Jardis V2 skin from Glam Affair and my much loved freckle tattoo from Glance Skins 'Daphne' range in addition to creating a new shape.

It's no secret I'm a Similar Footwear fan and just adore these 'Ravenna' heels in 'Cyan'.  I don't think we've ever been more spoiled for choice with the range of quality footwear available throughout SL.  I'm wearing 'Criminal Tights' from Nemesis.  My god they do brilliant tights.  Oh and go check out the new range of Utopia eyes from Ikon (formally Fashism).  Designer Ikon Innovia is the Prince of Peepers.

If anyone has any land marks to great looking runway's that I could use for some pics, could you send me the LM's in-world?  Only if I'm allowed to use it mind...don't want to drop smack bang in the middle of some runway show and have my sorry ass ejected before my fabulousness even rezzes...lol

Down to business:

SAS 'n' Bizzare.

Welcome to Chalice In Wonderland, the little blog that battles along trying to give the people who actually make this world so amazing a little leg up. I sometimes think we get so caught up blabbering shit, worrying about unimportant things and wasting time with in-genuine tool bags that it detracts from the beauty that is in every direction.  Come on darlings...keep making, keep seeing and keep feeling the beauty.

Here is a little SAS action in the most divine Purrrrr-ty pink.  Sascha Frangilli kindly sent me the fat pack of Purr and I opted to use only back as the accent color.

Here I'm showing the Empress style skirt but you know Sascha, she supplies so many other options that each dress transforms into something else with the click of a button.

The hair is another blockbuster kick ass style from Bizarra called 'Pollish' and even has it's own cute pair of black stiletto's sitting atop of the bun

Thanks for the lovely dress Sascha.  It's purr-fect for the most discerning pussies in town.

Just You And Your Hand Tonight.

When I walked in {.essenses.} the other day, I was magnetically drawn to the mesh Quilla dress in glorious burnt orange with Aztec inspired trim.  I put it in the wardrobe waiting for my chance to style a look when time permitted.

The dress comes with a shape; however, wishing to keep my face, I modified my own shape to fit the mesh dress and it was no hassle at all.  I love it darlings and I urge you to take a trip to {.essenses.}if you're looking for something different.

My heroine hairdresser, MyStiCa Matova from Bizarre Hair shared her collection with me and I proudly and unashamedly will be profiling it at every opportunity, such is the divine quality and reasonable cost for perfection.  This one is fittingly called 'DIVA'.  Well if the hair fits and all....

I found these killer clunker heels at Azoury.  They're more like boots with the burnt orange base and black knitted uppers.  Exotically called 'Les Talons Ixia', they add verve to the outfit, don't you think?

The superb bracelet, earrings and necklace are called 'Luanda' and was a blogger review gift from Amarelo Manga.  Thank you to  Luana Barzane and arturcosta Akina for the thoughtful blogger review package.  Everything in it is fantastic.

As to the meaning of my blog title, well its St V's day tomorrow and Cha has no manz to share it with in SL so bugger you all....(insert cackling maniacal laugh here).

To all involved in this look, you rock my world.

BoHo HoBo Jean Jacket

How about this jean jacket from BoHo HoBo gals?  Trill Zapatero sent it to me a little while ago and I finally got around to unpacking the box to find this awesome jacket that is perfect in every way.  I wasn't feeling inclined to just wack on the obvious pair of jeans so did some hunting to seek out something playful.

I found these booty shorts at (K)Rea! and from the rear, they're very cheeky.

The details on the back of the jacket is nothing less than you what get with BoHo HoBo pieces...interesting, unexpected and quirky.

Anyway kiddies, I'm off for lunch with the girls and yes, that big machine next to me will be throbbing away between my thighs in a blink of an eye.  Now I'm gonna shut up and drive :-)

Bizarre Hair Affair - Part 3

'Ello Ladies and Germs.  Here is the last post in my Bizarre Hair trilogy and I can tell you I've had a blast styling a look to compliment each do.  Shown here is 'Retro' and the hair wisps, hair band, earrings and a necklace (not shown) accompany it. I hope you all get behind this designer and her fabulous hair because I consider myself a bit of a hair aficionado, and this is GREAT-A-LICIOUS.

Now look at my dress dear fashion freaks and take in the subtle details of the material, cut and edging.  I found this at Sur+ called 'Vojeto'. I just love this dress.  I also loving my new purchase Elephant Bag from Tokidoki.

Lucky me logged in tonight and what do I find?  Another Bizarre box waiting for me.  Now that is a happy day:-:

Bizarre Hair Affair - Part 2

I simply can't tell you how much I love Bizarre Hair and all the special accessories that come with it.  Today I'm showing you CoCooN in Dirty Blonde.  The stunning tiara, necklace and bracelets are made by Maylo Dagostino from Maylo Designs Jewelery.  If you purchase the CoCooN fatpack from Bizarre, you will receive the tiara with the hair, however, you can purchase the necklace and bangles from Maylo Designs Jewelery.   Man it's all entirely fabulous believe me.

The hair wisp is also available as an option and just adds to the overall look of the do.  Mystica Matova has created the most amazing realistic hair texture and with hair being my weakness, I'm utterly thrilled.

When I tried on CoCooN, I immediately thought traditional bride with nontraditional accessories and found this great bridal dress from the Platinum Hunt of 2011 by Mocha.  Thank you to Flexagons Villota for creating such a great gown.

The Look:
Skin: Daphne Skin (make up 10) from Glance Skins.
Hair: CoCooN by Bizarre Hair.
Bridal Gown Incl. Veil and Hair Flower: By Mocha from Platinum Hunt 2011.
Shoes: Desire Sandals in White from SLink.
Tiara, necklace and bracelets: Maylo Designs Jewelery.

Stay tuned for part 3.

I Let My Fur And Feathers Fly in Paris Metro.

When I think grand, decadent fashion in SL, Paris Metro immediately comes to mind and one walk around the cavernous shop is testament to this.  Here I'm wearing a stunning gown called 'Take Flight Red and Black Bird' that sells for $1500L but worth every cent if its impact you're after.

The vision of red and black birds can be seen in the overlay material and is replicated in the full length gloves that formalize the look for that special event.  RFB Morpork is a visionary creating big gowns to sweep all who gaze upon them off their feet.

I'm wearing K.I.A. shoes in Ruby from LeLutka that sell for $875L.  I'm very partial to these.

Now you might be forgiven for thinking this is merely dark hair.  It's far more quirky than hair, it is the 'Jandora Fur Hat' from Bliss Couture ($198L) worn with the 'Little Black Pillbox Hat' from Eclectica ($350L) that I re-colored in red tones.

Hope you like my interpretation of the 'Take Flight Red and Black Bird' dress.

Other Stuff:
Skin: Fashion Monster Skin from Modern Gypsy (gifty skin).
Eyeliner: Tattoo Red Eyeshadow from Little Petites Details (free).
Eyeshadow: From Little Petites Details (free).
Eyes: Sunshine in Pale Steel Blue from Fashism ($150L)
Bag: From Muism (can't find it anymore)
Necklace: Timeless Knotted Necklace from Encore (store closed).

Leverocci and Mimikri Work For Me!

Take one AMAZING mesh skirt from Leverocci and add some Mimikri magic to make two different looks.

I just couldn't be happier about the end result of this look.  The stunningly patterned and textured mesh skirt from Leverocci is so clever in its construction and has a satin sheen.  Available in XXS, XS, S, M and L, there's a size for most figures and costs only $150L.  I wanted to bring out the soft blue in the skirt and found the Fur Stole (faux of course) at Mimikri for $200L.  Its dreamy to say the least and the satin bow at the waist pulls it all together.  I also found the Black Sweater with uber bell bottom sleeves at Mimikri for $250L.  I love the form.

The Shopping:
Shoes: Pascal Sock shoes in Oil from Leverocci - color change socks ($800L)
Hair: Tae in Platinum from Kik ($100L)
Earrings: India Dangle Earrings from Junk
Skin: Ebba in Milky by LAQ ($990L - 5 pack)

Tattoo Freckles and Beauty Mark: For Ebba skin by LAQ ($190L)
Eyes: Pale Steel Blue by Fashism
Nails: By Pixel Mode
Lashes: Ultimate Double Wing Lashes by Apple May Designs
Location: Nostos Deer

Now we go for a less sophisticated look still using my Leverocci skirt.  Again its more Mimikri with the Kay Black Blazar ($350L) and Nica Lurex top in pale blue ($200L).  I picked up the gorgeous Blackbird Handbag at Label Mode and again, I'm wearing the Leverocci Pascal Sock shoes opting for a lighter sock color.

The Shopping:

Earrings: Antonia in Black by DeLa
Necklace: Tony Necklace from NHA ($70L)

There's some weird stuff going on in the fashion world atm.  I don't really know what because I don't use any of the social networking site's in my SL anymore and they often give you the good oil on what's happening in the zoo.  With a new blog that's just hit town of the expose kind and some strange comments over at Agency Report, I'm beginning to wonder if some of you have gone bonkers. Seriously sweeties....while I'm all for a little ego stroking SL fling if that's your wish, apart from a few genuine relationships that make it through the labyrinth of obstacles and transcend into RL, I hope you realize there's some danger in putting all your eggs into a basket that doesn't really exist.  Maybe it's all role play and I'm the one out of sync, but I've seen a lot of people spill tears while role playing if that's the case.  Ask yourself this.  Do you deserve real hands giving you real hugs?  If so, don't accept anything less.

Let Me Tell You A Secret.................

Take one striking Kimono coat ($240L) with paisley pattern from The Secret Store and one  Menorca dress ($350L) in mustard from CheerNo, Add a red knot belt ($50L) from Voix and strings of pearls from +plus that I colored to match and you have a great little look going on.

Never forget to check the permissions on your items lovies because quite often you can make color modifications that personalizes your outfit for that uniqueness we all crave.

Finding some heels for my little outfit was quite a challenge but I persevered until I came across these Loordes Of London Asrid Booties in Regal Blue ($75L) sold at the Tropicana Baazar.

I love my newest bag purchase called Resort Satchel ($250L) in Pumpkin from Leverocci.  Seriously folks.  You MUST go check out Leverocci's stuff, especially the shoes, but not before I blog them or I'll hunt you down and smack you with my purse.

As for the rest, Cha's wearing Kaja hair ($100L) in Platinum from Kik, Gold and Coral earrings from Simay Creations, Lotus ring from Kunglers, Prim nails from Pixel Mode, Claudia 2 Milky Glow skin from Laq and Love My Eyeliner and Mascara Tattoo from Boom.

Anyway that's it from me.  Hope you all had a wonderful New Year.  While I'm sad Christmas/New Year is over for another year, my body needs a serious detox so perhaps its for the best if I want to see 2013.

Don't Mesh With The Dress Baby.

So EnCore got me over to the right side...the mesh side...with the allure of her new release skirt and now I'm entirely won over.  As luck would have it, I decided to check out a store that I have a real crush on, Couverture.  Designer, Chocolate Arashi, has pulled together a wonderful collection of clothing and produced one of my favorite dresses in SL (see here).  To my delight one of her new releases is a darling knitted maxi dress in a muted shade of purple for only $280L.  Available with or without the delicate spaghetti straps, my 'mesh-affair' only deepened when I put it on.

There are three sizes, small, medium and large to fit most shapes and for me, the large fitted like a glove.  How wonderful to have a hem that maintains its folds and drape without the body poking through with every movement.

I went bag hunting too and found this little treasure called 'Miranda' made by Tattoodiva Jules from BagLady Design.  These are the days when I love fossicking in SL.  The times where you unearth a treasure from a place you didn't know existed and at only $10L, I literally bagged a bargain.

The earring (yes I'm only wearing one), necklace and bracelets were recent bargains from the Tropicalia Bazaar 2 at Purple Moon.  Designed by Amorous, the set is called 'Antiquarian Chianti' and sells for a steal at $75L.

I have a real thing for Similar Footwear and popped on the Barletta shoes that compliment this dress perfectly in my opinion.  I think they're around $795L but they're quality all the way and I simply can't get enough of them.

And while you're checking out Couverture at the sim Slow, go take a peek at [kik] hair.  I love this wind-swept, messy do called 'Fine' in platinum for only $200L.

Only 10 days to go and nary a Christmas post from me.  I'm resisting as long as I can because quite frankly, I'm quite over candy cane's, red, green and white lingerie and Christmas fare protruding from every orifice.  I think I've become a bit Scrooge like this year :-(  If anyone finds my Christmas spirit, by all means have a swig, then send it back home to me.
